Does anyone else feel kinda gypped that this was the only time many of these characters ever won a single duel in the entire series and we don't even get the see most of said duels? As much as I do enjoy this series despite its many flaws, I still don't like how they treated Yuma's friends. Even Duel Monsters, for what it's worth, gave the other characters moments to shine. This series mostly uses them as either Yuma's cheer squad or cannon fodder with very few exceptions.
Good ideas put into this incarnation of the series, but it was better when they were at least in Highschool, most of everyone’s hair wasn’t gelled into spikes, and when apparently grade schoolers can ride motor vehicles on their own.
