  • I have tested the xTool F1 laser engraver. I wanted to buy this engraver, but xTool company approached me and proposed to review it. I happily accepted it. I also tried to automate this laser engraver with the robot arm. And it works, but it requires some refinement.

Turn the engraver 90, let the arm push the start button.

    Excellent video, thank you!
Do you know if the software can support engraving sequential serial numbers? If so, can it support sequential serial numbers in a 2d matrix code? What is the practical minimum size for a 2d matrix code? Is there an input on the laser that an output of the robot controller could start the engraving once the piece was in place? Likewise, is there an output from the laser available that coukd signal the robot to retrieve the part once engraving is finished?

I believe you can move the slide extension in sections to have full use of the galvanic head. May have been a firmware update.

What I think would be amazing idea is to put the laser on the arm for Engraving or cutting 3rd dimensional objects I don't know why no laser company has came up with this simple but brilliant idea. Since they use this type of robotic arm for laser cutting

This robot has repeatability of 0.2mm. That isn't good enough for an attached laser engraver. This robot will make a complete mess of the engrave.

Надо было и кнопку роботом нажимать, а самому на заднем плане с чашкой кофе газету читать.

Looks like a lovely machine! Should we trust our eyesight to goggles that we don't know the quality of? Would it not be better to cover the green cover with something that would completely block out any light from the lasers in addition to using goggles? If we wanted to see what was going on inside the enclose one could mount a little camera and have a monitor on the outside?

Sorry, I always liked to see new trends and interesting solutions from your channel. Unfortunately UA-cam now blocks your videos because I don't want to allow commercials. I will keep my subscription, but if things don't change, within the next weeks the subscription for your channel does not make sense any more. Thanks, Gregor

I understand, but you should also understand that I receive almost nothing from youtube. I cannot make a great project every month (otherwise i will have nothing to eat). So I need to earn money elsewhere, thus the quality of videos deteriorate. To make a DIY video I spent at least one month. And usually I receive around 20-30$ for this video. Which is enough for one burger in my country.
