Get a tube of 100% silicone, run a small bead down the length of the strap, but stay away from the ends. Spread it thin with a flat object like a razor blade. Let it cure for a day or two and now you have a Kevlar reinforced sticky strap.
Problem is you need to do something extreme like using a bike tire to make that seatbelt material stick to it, and then it's adding like 40g to the quad. And it's $15.
Me who can barely fly a little 3" - "Ah, yes, a kevlar reinforced strap. I must have that." But for real on the double strap for lyfe. My battery kept slipping with a single strap and my props would start to hit it.
RJX is most likely the OEM for a lot of these. I've successfully broken one, but that was on heck of a crash, while carrying a 6S 1300mAh pack... great stuff
That new tinys leds strap looks like its the exact same as the new iflight ones. Theyre really good although it looks like the buckle is a better system
Not of these lasted long. The Led version lasted me for a month. Over time, the velcro section wear out if you fly your drone alot. I'm still looking for a good one.
i had a nearly brand new one ripping apart during flight 3 weeks ago ....was the one comming with my dquad... wonder why no one makes there something with leather, like thin goat leather or so .... this aritifial woven shit is all crap !!! remember the skater kids with their dickies pants in the 90s.. how their cheap nylon belt would always slowly deteriarate within a year or so ? thats the same bullshit material made from oil basicly
@@clonkex its more expensive if you keep on buying straps all the time .... but honstly i don t remeber paying a fortune wehn getting a trowser belt made of leather ...do you ?
I guess that about STRAPS it up 😂
GTFO

Sold!! I just bought 4 of those awesome straps and a real pit. Thanks for the awesome presentation.

This!
Thank you
i was waiting for a video like this for so long, underrated content right there for components we tend to forget too much
Team double-strap for life! I agree once you go with 2-straps, I dont even fly frames that will not accept 2-straps.
This video is super underrated.
ive watched lots of your videos and I'm surpirsed for the quality of your videos and flying you don't have more subs, so i subb'd, you need more.
I’ve been using a HotDogFPV battery strap for 2 years. Along with a little bicycle inner tube or rubber battery pad it’s solid AF.
Problem is you need to do something extreme like using a bike tire to make that seatbelt material stick to it, and then it's adding like 40g to the quad. And it's $15.
They're boss af, worth the money imo. Wish they made a 1/2" version.

>vid about little velcro belts
i shleep
>rcaddict has video about little velcro belts
REAL SHIT?
I use RJX hobbies Kevlar straps from Bangood. I've never broken one. They're really, really good.
Not fully sure but think these might be made by rjx
@@TheRCAddict They could be, although the current ones have the RJX logo.

plastic buckle is big no if ur running bottom mount. had two of them. both break on each of their first crash
Solder the ring with plumbing solder
pyro drone straps are all I use! they hardly break! well over time, they do! but not initially!
That canopy is sicccc
I know I love it
The Iflights are good too, not the rubberized ones..
Looks like I need me some of those straps to try 👍
Pretty nice, dude! I liked it! 😃
Code doesn't work :-(

The iflight are made by RJX, don't have a solid buckle, and are double the price though.
@@TheRCAddict i agree. Just cant find anywhere in the uk stoking tinys led stuff at the minute. Wish there was so i could get a nexus for racing
Tried to get a UK retailer but there is not enough interest yet.
@@TheRCAddict I think I'll email some of them and ask nicely when they're gonna stock it😁
Sounds like a safe sex commercial from the 90s. Take care our favorite pilot
Saw the video, instantly bought three. Lol
what about the flywoo kevlar straps?
The solid metal buckle is the best part here, otherwise the kevlar is worthless as the buckle will break first.
Have you tried ummagrip for keeping your battery in?
Heavy and expensive. Also isn't gonna help if you rip your straps in half sending it ;) Two of these straps and a normal battery pad is rock solid.
The RCAddict OoOoOoooo makes sense :)

Please fix the the first and second link :)
They weren't broken UA-cam just needed the http for some reason. Thanks
Cool man!!!
Nice
What about watch wrist straps for obese people?
please..... Don't move your hand so quickly
