Of course I strongly recommend hiring a human photographer to get quality pics… but I know everyone’s budgets are different ❤ maybe these can hold you over (if you can generate one that’s not totally creepy!)
Does the app cost money? Also I love you videos keep up the good work. You look so young though so for some of us I think you’re our internet little sister lol 😂
Imagine coming across your better version android and outside living her best life during work hours and you happen to be taking out trash in your hobo clothes.
This is a great tip in a pinch, however the shots that it did do look very fake. I would say photoshopped but it's almost more like when you cartoonify yourself, just a different art style. I would recommend doing this in a way that looks more real and natural. Might also want to mention the app has a pay wall
I get the feeling this is an ad. Also, in the photos in the community post there's one or two that looks okay. And the style you're looking for is realism meets manga, or "Con Portraits in a manga style" because artists at cons don't have nearly enough time to really hit one or the other correctly, so many blend the two in order to take more customers.
As a human artist and photographer, ai is kinda scary right now lol. But, maybe human made things will become the 'quality' stuff and I can actually make a living in the cyberpunk apocalypse.
You can choose to pay yearly instead of weekly so it won’t be like 450 dollars a year , I would be more like 70 something I and think they charge you $1.54 a week if you choose yearly
Something I’d like to note about this is there aren’t any models for plus size women. I tried it, it put my very rounded face on very thin bodies. If that’s you skip this 🤷♀️ Besides that, I’m not a fan of AI as a creative so I’m not sure why I even tried
Omg this is going to help me so much! I am a dance teacher straight out of university and don't have the money for headshots right now, thank you so much!
@@KarolinaPietrykai think you don’t understand how these apps work lol. Go read the terms of use 😉. Everything you share with the apps becomes their property. Your own picture and the generated one.
Here's the problem, I'd need 12 selfies for this. It would probably be easier to just get ready and take a head shot than do the same 12 times for selfies 😂
Thanks for this! I really needed this suggestion. Also may I say that your tips and suggestions are all like 'Note that down!' moments. You truly are my elder sister☺️ Thank you!
You can also have AI just replace certain things in photos.. hair color/style, outfit, etc. I use Fotor Pro for that. You just brush the area you want changed and tell it what to do. It takes some getting used to, but it can be really cool. Then use the other tools to refine. You can take a bathroom selfie, remove the background, change your outfit then pick a professional background, paste yourself in and play with shadowing, etc.
There's no way I'm first! Erin, I wanna take this time to thank you for all of your knowledge, tips, and advices. I religiously go through all your videos and have some of em saved for me to screen through before any interview I go for. You have been a blessing. Thank you for serving the community. I pray for nothing less than abundant health, wealth, peace and happiness for you. Truly. ❤ Love from Malaysia
Can you delete and have scrubbed the photos you provide? I live in Illinois and we have a very specific law regarding facial recognition computing, and most apps don't meet the legal requirements for disclosures and right to have personal image removed.
I have already used this app and although it does generate very good images, you can still tell they are AI generated. Like there’s something off with them. Maybe for a linkedin picture it’s fine, but if you post them a lot people will notice. Plus, you have to pay!
I am mixed race and plus sized so AI still hasn’t quite got round to figuring me out and I’m in a field where people can spot AI generated art can be spotted from a mile off and will probably upset them.
Neither do I want to give a random company my photo data nor do I want to feed more data into an AI that then develops more and feeds into an industry that will continue stealing content from creators. I see that people’s budgets are different but many photographers are willing to make deals and/or bracket payments, photoshop exists, half professional taken by a friend in front of a blanket- there are ways without AI, please use them 👌👌
No no no no. At least with all the ones you showed, they all look like they're AI. If they realize it's an ai image they won't know if it's actually based off of you or just an image of a totally different likeness. I wouldn't do this if I were you
Hi Erin! I need advice on to how to say to to working for free. When I got hired at the spa I work at as a massage therapist, the owner briefly mentioned twice a year everyone pitches in to clean the spa. I thought it was weird, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. Another therapist just told me that in the fall they expect everyone to spend 2 WHOLE DAYS cleaning, for no pay. Totally free. I can’t believe it. How do I say no to this? We’re independent contractors is this even legal?
This is so cool. I have waited years to upload a photo to my LinkedIn because i could not find a good pic. Finally uploaded an old photo. Gonna try this.
AI generations are still too uncanny for me to even consider this a serious tip. Not to mention coming from a designer who I'd assume would know better
Do you know any jobs that would be a good fit for someone who deaf, has anxiety that makes it difficult to be in a group of more then 5 people, depression that can turn susidel, PTSD from being physically sexually and emotionally abused, ADHD, and autism who doesnt do any eye contact with others and who isnt good at verbally communicating with others and who has been working in the fast food/restaurant industry for a decade and just cant take it anymore???? The person is really good at hyper focuing for hours and hours on end to get job tasks done but who also needs frequent long breaks and they can only focus on 1 single job task at a time but they are also easily distracted. I keep getting fired or have to quit due to being bullied and picked on cuz of the way i act when im stressed out while at work, its hard for me to find and keep a job, im horrible at interviews cuz im not good at interacting with stranywhilr also answering sudden questions on the spot. Sometimes i think its not even worth it anymore and that i should have taken my own life back when i was a teen that way jone of this would be happening right now
honestly i would consider joining a coding academy school. your ability to hyperfocus would make you a great coder. and "years in fast food" would make ANYONE want to kill themselves depending on the team. Hang in there! your life is valuable and i strongly suspect you are a good person who deserves happiness. Tech Elevator is a great company check them out. Another good school would be Bloom Tech and App Academy. Both of those are free tuition until you're hired. Good luck to you!

Unfortunately, people can’t always afford a professional photographer.

So many new apps these days, nice to see one that helps spruce up online profiles. Good overview!
Only if you pay for the app.
Nice work with the animations, flowing hair and facial expressions really sell it.
