When I try doing the duplicating of the gauntletts, nothing to happens and the mission never starts when inside the garage. Is that because I’m in a newer patch? Does the newer patch change what upgrades I should use on the car?
People speedrun in a version 1.27. because that version has better glitches for speedruning. That might be a reason why it doesn't work. There are guides in a speedrun site and on youtube of how to downgrade your game

I'm not an expert though, but apparently it's used to actually skip over certain missions entirely, saving up to like 30 minutes off the entire run
