- In this video, I will install the Form Fusion LED Trunk Lights on my Spyder RT, which will provide much more visibility from behind, especially when I'm towing my Mini Mate PopUp Motorcycle Camper. These lights Show Chrome are installed the rear of the trunk lid. I purchased the kit from Slingmods, including the Plug-N-Play wiring harness.
These lights can be installed on the 2020 & newer Spyder RT Limited and on the 2018 & newer Spyder F3.
I am NOT affiliated with Show Chrome, nor am I affiliated with Slingmods where I purchased these lights.

This video is a great example of the benefits in retirement…. You have the luxury to take the time to do a task to the best of your abilities. No need to rush.
We’ll done
Yep... probably spent 8 or 9 hours to edit 90 minutes of footage down to a 12 min video... retirement time is a blessing 😂 Thanks, Craig 😁👍
You are very quietly becoming very handy in the garage. Great job on this tutorial install, Wayne!
Thank you, Eric 😁 BTW, the batteries for my ftidge worked great on my recent trip to Ohio 👍👍
Wayne’s Mechanical World. Very good explanation, installation and editing. We aren’t worthy.
Well done
Haha, when I was done recording, I had an hour & a half of footage 😳🤪😵 and my first thought was... time to sharpen the scissors to cut this thing down somehow 🤔🙄🤣
Extra lights. What a “ Bright “ Idea. 🤩. HI YO SILVER. 🕷️🕸️😎🇺🇸🇨🇦.
Just trying to "lighten" things up ☺️🤣
I cant believe you found room for even more lights! I agree, that with the trailer blocking some of the lights it helps to have more. That is way more than I am willing to try to install but your installation instructions were easy to follow. It looks great, Wayne!
Haha, big lights for big trunk. My issue has been the occasional big bump in the road that sometimes pops the trailer plug loose, and the trailer lights go out. The "square" plug supplied by BRP is not the greatest style plug. Thanks, Stan 😁👍
Excellent! Now I have to save this to my Can-Am Farkle install playlist.
Oh wow, a Farkle Playlist... you're gonna make me blush ☺️👍
Wow Wayne ! Are you becoming a rock star ? I am not sure if you can sing or play anything but the hair is on par 😂
Well, I have 3 guitars and a keyboard, and sometimes I can sing a tune or two... but I still ended up in a bean-counting career .... 🤔🙄🤣🤣
Yep, Eddie! I can attest to the fact that Wayne can sing and play several instruments very well! 🤗🎤🎸🎹
@@PurpleOnThree I occasionally like to frolick in the autumn mist, in a land called Honah-Lee 🎶
Those brake lights really look nice on there. I like how it adds to the visibility of the Spyder from behind. You done a nice job on the installation of the lights and made a great video to boot. I am sure it will be helpful to others like me in the future.
I really like these big, high, and bright lights 😁👍
Awesome video. As you know I'm not big into all the extra lighting, but I do love lights for safety. BRP needs to take notice. Thanks Wayne. PS maybe those deers will see you now.
Shhhhhhhh.... no more deer 😳😁🤣
MasterTech! Excellent tutorial. Show Chrome take note.
Haha, well, when one has about 90 minutes of video footage, it was nice that I could find about 12 minutes of decent usable clips 🙄☺️🤣, but thank you for the kind words, Scott 😁👍
much improved visibility but even better tutorial, great job Wayne..
I really love these lights, a little pricey, but they're big, high, and bright !!! Thanks, JB 😁👍
These light are really nice and add a lot more visibility for sure! You need to open a Spyder Repair Center!
Very kind words, thanks , RJ 😁👍
But don't forget, with magical editing, one can make oneself look like they know what they're doing 😊😅
Slick instal right there .Most certainly going to be of great help to many .Good stuff Wayne
Well, I hope it helps a few folks. Thank you so much, Terry 😁👍
Awesome install Wayne! Very useful lights when towing your camper. Cheers!
I really like these lights. Thanks, Richard 😁👍
Good idea on checking those lights before you installed them! 👍
The instructions don't say to test them before installation, but it would be frustrating to remove them at the end if, for some reason, they weren't working 😵💫☺️
@@SpyderWayne absolutely!!
Good job. I added the same lighting to my F3 several months ago and love them, looks good on the Spyder and the extra lights works for better visibility. Safe Travels!
I really love these lights 😁👍👍
Thank you for the vedio now I feel confident I can install these lights
It wasn't too difficult, but take your time, and measure twice !! 😁👍
I don't think I realized that the seat is heated on your RT! Even the passenger seat...wow!
Yeah, the heated passenger seat and heated passenger hand grips on my Spyder never get used, but comes in handy for couples riding 2 up. 😁
Thank you for posting this tutorial, these lights look good and are a great addition to the back of these trikes.
I really do like these lights, thanks 😁👍
Enjoyed this install video.
Awesome, thank you! 😁👍
Great video Wayne. Always very informative and makes me want to do more work myself! Ride safe and have fun sir.
Thank you so much 😁👍
Wayne, Great Job!!! I love Mine on my 23 RT Limited.
the only other issue i had was i have passenger arm rests, my trunk does not open all that way.
@@allee68 Thank you so much 😁👍
Lights look good Wayne 👍
Thanks, Roy 😁👍
Great video. Very informative. Good stuff. I really like the idea of the pool noodle. HI YO SILVER, the Mini Kamp are very visible day and night. NicelY Done. Thanks for sharing. StaY Alert. rYde Safe, in a Fun Way. Keep on SpYdering. 🕷️🕸️🇺🇸😎🇨🇦. HI YO SILVER.👍😀.
I don't have a pool, but I have found a couple uses for pool noodles 🤔😁👍
I can definitely see why you wanted to add those lights. Not sure if I will add them if I'm not going to be pulling a trailer. I have no idea what a step drill is...
The hole being drilled just keeps getting bigger and bigger as you drill. You stop drilling when you get to the step you need on the drill bit. Each step on the drill bit is marked.
@@SpyderWayne WOW! How come Torquey Tommy doesn't have one of these? Well...hmmm, perhaps he does and I just don' know?? 🤷♀🤷♀🤷♀🤷♀🤷♀🤷♀
Hey Wayne. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Larry 😁👍
Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
I love these lights, and they look great !! 😁👍
excellent video
Thank you, 😁 👍
First 🎉
🍹🥂🇨🇦🇧🇷😁👍👍
Those look great! Yes, batten down the hatches lol. Now how long did this install actually take you?
Haha, it took me about 2 hrs, and I had over 90 minutes of footage, with a ton of useless blah blah blah. It took me hours to edit this one, which, for a garage video, was unusual. I just kept going back through the footage over and over and over to cut stuff and cut more and more stuff out. Boy, can I ever blab and blab when I'm thinking out loud these days 🙄😳😵💫☺️🤣
@@SpyderWayne now that's funny! Two hours ...probably would have taken me two days!! 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Hey Wayne great video. I noticed you had the sequential front fender lights also. Could you post what kind and where you got them. I am interested in doing the same.set up you have. Thanks
I purchased the fendet lights from Slingmods:
Can-Am Spyder 2019+ F3 & RT Front Fender Sequential LED Turn Signals & Running Lights by TricLED.
I ALSO purchased the TrricLED 1:2 Front Fender Accessory Power Harness for the Can-Am Spyder F3 & RT (2019+) Set of 2, which I needed to install the floorboard lights along with the fender lights.
@@SpyderWayne thank you. I will look these up.
