Love Greenhorn Mountain! Mushroom hunters’ paradise in the forests at the top! Harvesters are up there entire month of August and September! They sell the mushrooms in the markets at lower elevations.

@NCHCHeritageEd It was absolutely beautiful. Had no idea we missed out on all the shrooming possibilities! Looks like we'll have to make a return visit. Thanks for the tip!

I was right there with you as you did your set up for the first time, and the backing up just takes practice. I'm in the process of downsizing from a 25' Airstream, towed with an F250... moved to a Jeep Gladiator and am shopping for a teardrop/squaredrop. I'll be following you Vlog with keen interest! Stay safe out on the road!!

Hi Dale! Thanks for following! There’s a serious learning curve on the backing up, part. It’s completely counterintuitive, but Gary got the hang of it pretty quick! He wants an Airstream, pretty bad! 😄 What made you decide to downsize from an Airstream!?

@@skywaystohighways Hi Tosh and Gary! Honestly I pined for an Airstream for years. Finally got one and then had to upgrade my truck to tow it. It came down to $$$ and time... I spent an awful lot of money for it and didn't have the time to use it. Another thing was storage - was not able to store it at home so I was paying through the nose for covered storage. Fiinally, and sadly, the juice just wasn't worth the squeeze.... the legendary Airstream quality turned out to be... just a legend..... so now I have new Gladiator that's paid for, and I'm shopping for a teardrop that I can keep in the garage.... and it will simpler and easier to handle, and I can get more off road with it.... for towing there is nothing better than an Airstream.... for everything else it isn't any better than anything else.....

I can imagine that was quite a big investment! Although I do appreciate the beauty of an Airstream, we’d both have fly a lot of overtime to afford one. In my opinion they look really slick on the road, but I’m more of a no-frills, off trail, roughing it in the wilderness kinda girl. I don’t care for dropping a ton of cash on items that are just pretty to look at, need a lot of upkeep and yet, limit your freedom to enjoy it. We wanted something affordable, simple and fun. Absolutely nothing fits that bill (literally/figuratively speaking) more than an HT. “The juice isn’t worth the squeeze “ I love it and I’m stealing that one!!! 😂😂😂😂

Love, love New Mexico, especially when the Summer in Texas is so hot. I have found out that camping & sightseeing is a great combination. Try adding sightseeing to local Cathedrals, they are really beautiful out there.

New Mexico’s my favorite, so far! It’s so beautiful. Thanks for the great suggestion! I think I might need a realtor! 😄

Like your videos but I wish you would do all your filming at 1080p. Nobody likes the blurriness of 360p. 😎

Thank you @DrC! We’re brand new at this UA-cam thing and we only just figured out there’s a different way to upload. We just assumed it would automatically upload at the correct format. Unfortunately, we can’t go back and fix our previous videos, but we are remedying the situation for our future uploads. Thanks so much for your feedback and we hope you continue enjoying our content. Next video premieres on Sunday.! Hope to see you there.
