You Can't Outrun the Law At Kingsbury

Didn't know Carey was that fast but the Hardley Davidson was on the job, the mighty steed carrying the Kingsbury Kop to the chase armed with his trusty .38 Colt Police Positive revolver. John Scott Matty patiently took the video while I was clumsily trying to figure out how to fire the .38 (blanks) and not run into a tree. The Colt proved very handy though which is what made it popular with many police officers, especially in the early 20th Century. Old Kingsbury Aerodrome, Pioneer Flight Museum, Kingsbury Texas. This might be the first time a firearm was discharged (ok, with blanks) from a motorized bike. When the early motorized bicycles were being considered for replacing horses, there was a lot of active imaginary shootouts from motorcycles in the press extolling the predicted virtues of motorcycles and their heroic riders. This video is intended to parody that nonsense. Motorcycles made for terrible gun platforms, too much going on.
