I got to see a premier of this film in New York, which was followed by an in person interview with the band. That was an amazing night, but this film is absolutely worth seeing even if you wind up doing some other activity immediately afterwards. It is an amazing story of a group of guys that, collectively or individually, probably played on about half of your record collection.
Back when we had LPs, I’d always check the liner notes to see who the session musicians were. These guys became household names to me. Really eager to see the film and thanks for creating it for all of us.
For our generation, these guys are the defining sound, the second coming of the "Wrecking Crew" I'm not surprised that I love everything they played on.
Can't wait until this film goes into general release. I love these guys and the music they've made. I feel so lucky to be walking the planet at the same time they are.

All these people were great musicians. I don't know why there are fools online who try to claim that the contributions of these musicians and those like them was somehow a closely guarded secret?

Leland Sklar is the enormous talent out of this bunch. Waddy is the most overrated guitarist in history. All due respect to them all and admiration but do they really stack up against Luke, Porcaro, Paich and the rest of the studio musicians who formed Toto? Do they really come close to the Wrecking Crew? I think not on both counts.
They made the music of my lifetime and I’m still listening.
