- Hello everybody and welcome to another top five list. In our list today we'll be looking at the best ultimate abilities of the gods as of patch 3.9

Personally I think Khepri's ult should be in there, maybe even on number one. You can save someone's life, or your own, and get them to a save position. But that aside. Nice list and love your vids.

Well if you are a good khepri you can wait till the very last moment and the enemy team dont expect it. But you are right the ult is easy countered
Mundo Main i honestly never really had much trouble fighting the bug. even more so with all the nerfs on him
well khepri's ult wont save you from an execution, and it's really easy to mess up with his ult
I think Chang'es ulti would be on this list for the fact that it can go up to a five second stun.

I don't know why you compare Zhong Kui ult to Hun Batz ult. Hun Batz ult is strong because of the CC, not because of the damage it does. Probably one of the best ultimates in the game after the nerfs to beads too in my opinion.
huns ulti actually does decent damage, maybe 300-400 at max lvl with the build completed
he is just comparing all the AOE ults and how zhong has one of he best ones
No ultimate is weak. But in comparison, as the video says, it also is not the strongest. Zhong Kui holds the strongest AoE Constant Damage Ultimate out of all of the gods. No matter how you try to pull Hun Batz away from it. That is what his ultimate is. His is weaker due to a fear being tacked on. It also has a weakness of pushing enemies out of it. So it can deal even less or last for a shorter time depending on the placement of the ultimate. No ultimate is bad, but this is the top five BEST. Zhong Kui beats Hun Batz in this case.
+TydeTyme thats so true,the major problem of huns ulti is that it actually gets the enemy out of the range, and if you hit multiple targets they spread, so for me,though it has a decent damage, its an anoying ulti even for hun, and i think that its focused on killing a single target or helping the team to do it,whereas zong can do both or even focuse on killing more than one enemy,and with isolation gem you can get a bit of cc.

Apollo, Jing Wei, Kukulkan, Nu Wa, Medusa, Guan Yu, Scylla, Rama, Ymir, Thor, Sobek, Xing Tian?
Kumbhakarna would win. Every time. There are few things funnier than a fat guy sending someone flying vertically upwards. In addition, the fact that you can see the erstwhile enemy flying up from anywhere on the map only increases the amusement. There is a long time to think about how life went wrong whilst you are up there.

Ares? Kukulkan? Thanatos? Thor?
Kukulkan has a good ult, high damage and it knocks up the opponent to either side but thats it. Kukulkan isnt CC immune or anything while he ults, and right before the giant dragon appears it shows on the ground of where it will be so enemies can easily dodge it. at most if an opponent cant dogde it, they can use aegis to immune the damage.

Trust me i know, with a good set up if you can hit like 3 or 4 players of the team. even if it doesnt kill them. it just completely turned the team fight to your favor.

I was expecting the Chronos ult in there (aka 2nd life) as it takes you out of the fight to were you were ánd gives back all health lost last 8 secs. But I see your reasoning, so would not know which to replace it with. So good job as always. :D

Fuck I hate Kali's ultimate. It's kinda op how she's literally invincible and if you run away, she'll catch up because of her movement speed
Certainly a nice list. All of them are great ultimates. The only one I have an issue with is Kali's simply, not saying it doesn't belong, because anyone with a stun can cause you precious time if they connect with it and if you've not secured the kill/assist. Great list all around.
I have a question I have only played the god once so not trying to BM but Kehpri his ult literally has won a few games that I have been in its a real game changer so may I ask your thought process?

I love the nuwa ultimate, damage to all the enemy team, map reveal, beads.. you can get kills and asist from other lines on your line that shit is op

when Nuwa is in the sky she have immunity, very useful against Ares, hades nemesis and that kind of ultimates

So this is just a question but isn't khepri ult first like kalis and then even better since you can save yourself or a teammember and you can put him in a better spot

on Odin's ult, you said you can't escape, well you can if you have a god that can tp him self like Loki's ult, Thor hammer etc.

Actually, you can escape with gods that don't have escapes. Phantom lets you pass through Odin's Ult. :P I know this because I've done it myself on MANY occasions.

If you have a team of Beads Burners it should be said that a well timed and places Ares ult can guarantee a fight victory, sure many gods ults can help but landing a successful Ares ult on an enemy whose beads are down literally guarantees their death.
Also, Athena ult gives her global pressure all game and when timed correctly with a jump or dash can even do massive damage.
What are your thoughts on Anubis's ultimate late game that can take down a Titan immediately (if built correctly)? Also, I don't think he should be top five, but I think it is important to note that if you pair up the relic thorns with Hades's ultimate then you become a powerful and extremely tanky for the duration of the ultimate.
Honestly I think they need to reduce damage from abilities against Titan a little bit. maybe make them deal 25% less or 50% less. I do find it crazy that any mage with a very high powered ultimate can practically win the game in a moment's notice.
Ao Kuang ? No ? Well ... ok.
I agree. He executes, lands for damage, and gets 75% heal.
Not to mention his ult is super unique. The only other execute in the game is Thanatos, which doesn't heal and doesn't allow for potential to escape or dive back in for secondary damage
this is purely his opinion.... its about what ults is the biggest game changer

I think scylla's ult is really powerful, you gain 6 secs of cc inmunity, up to 70% move speed, +1200 dmg and killing somebody resets the ult
This seems like a very good list, I'd maybe personally put Kali as number one simply because Janus's ult, while undoubtably game changing, is still slightly situational. It's based heavily on team positioning and what the map looks like, whereas Kali's ult is....just usable in just about any situation XD But either way, I find your arguments for all of these to make a lot of sense! Good list

chiron ult is meh i think. khepri could be here yes but cannot change team fight.

Mahir Tahseen 3 long arrow are not a very good ult. ok u cannot die while firing but it's difficult to revive, u cannot use that as an escape and u deal more damage firing normal auto during that time. the only good things are the range. rama ult for example is 10 times better because it takes u out from the fight completely and u deal a ton of damage with much more range and accuracy.
+salva95x YGOPRO Exactly. Most Ults have at least 2 common uses (E.g Loki's an escape and kill pressure with CC) or one us that it's extremely good at (say, Anubis' Ult for huge kill pressure on possibly multiple targets) but Chiron's is just a poor kill pressure and nothing else.
Well, I guess it's how you use it, Chiron is more of a support/sustain Hunter so he pulls his role off pretty well when using his ultimate.
Hun Batz ult should be on here, it only has one counter (beads) as opposed to Zhong ult which can be counter by just leaping away, slowing him, speeding up with sprint, or using shell
tyde also mention about his ult moveable with him, while hunbatz and such AoE ult arent moveable .. he compare by overall .. not by only cc or only dmge ..

hard to get away from zhong when he slows and stuns you and has sprint as well. they well still chase you even if you are out of range. so funny to watch :)

Sean Powers again beads and having sprint your self can easily solve that. he has his own slows and stuns too.

you know what i had a lot of salt for your 5 worst but i can truely say no.1-4 and possibly 5 you have nailed through explanation and although i almost choked on my drink when you said rat , your explanation is fully justified so i respect that and agree. My picks would be 5. Rat 4. Odin 3. Kali 2. This i thought had to be on the list Khepri and 1. Janus

also in addition to sols ability osiris is able to escape odins ring with his passive which allows him to pass through enemies and enemy structures. ex. odin's ult
yeah but i thought about it and he is more likely to jump out if he's gonna have his armor off xD unless he is trying to go back in :P
Depending on the situation nemesis' ult is super useful with a massive protection steal and huge slow 1v1 or even 1v3 depending on who she uses it on she can become very hard to kill and deal massive damage. Also Isis' ult is very flexible and powerful with a charge akin to amaterasu's 2 with a possible 4000 damage at max with large area control and incredible healing to allies which allows for a high team push capability and incredibly high team sustain as well.
I like Ra and Thanatos' ult. Ra can deal a lot of damage if timed right, and I love seeing them run when I activate Hovering Death.
Spectral armour and using a relics allows you to ghost for 4 seconds a handy way to get out of Thor's ult, I normally use meditation and when he bird bombs you will need it
My favorite Ult is Agni's because of the spam-ability combined with the high but not too highdamage and the combo potential with his 1. I can use it to stun someone and straight up nuke them or i can box people in or I can just use it to finish and opponent sitting in his tower/running.

Kali's Ult is shut down fairly well by Osiris and Serqet. Odin too. If you negate healing, she will literally be at 1 point of health. Serqet shuts it down most effectively with the true DOT and cancels all healing. So, throw it on after she starts it, she won't lifesteal, and just watch her die. I do agree, it is VERY useful.
I would like to see a top 5 list of the gods weapons
Personally I feel sun Wukong has a fantastic ult because he becomes cc immune, he can move before jumping into the air,when he's in the air he deploys a decoy to which some people fall for,the duration to which he can stay in his ult is quite a bit of time and the radius of his slam back down is nice and big.
Im suprised there was no amaterasu ult, especially considering it changes teamfight before it even lands the 2nd strike as the opponents generally try to run away
ideas for top list videos:
-top non ult ability
-top non ult combos with 1 or 2 player (e.g. janus portal + helix or janus portal + tyr fearless)
-top ult combos (e.g. ne zha + scylla)
-top overall god (that wouldl certainly get a lot of views)
-top sustain + presence (laning)
or something casual: most fun god to play
Scyllas ult is really nice. Pentakills for days!
I also like the ult for Nu Wa. Being able to hit people all across the map is great, even if the damage is not to impressive.
My final pick for favourite ult would probably be Sol. The burstdamage on it can get stupidly high.
Odin's alt can be countered by a certain item if you use one of ur relics ( I don't remember the the name of the item)

One of my personal favorites is Mercury's. It wrecks early game, has its very own UNIQUE CC, and plus when you hear that thunder clap, you get scared af. People back up when they see it. Plus you can travel down the entire lane and snipe someone with it and they'll be left like, wtf was that
Ymir ult does 1200 plus 150% of magical power and it isn't here because... Can you tell me?
Where would you place Khepri?
I'm surprised Aphrodite wasn't on this list somewhere. Her ult can be used with an ally making both of them cc immune and invulnerable to damage and her ult comes back fast as shit with only cool down boots and chronos pendant.

I'd argue He Bo definitely belongs somewhere near the top. It's a pretty simple ult (and He Bo already basically has four ultimates since his abilities are so strong) but it just works on so many levels. It's essentially a dash with complete immunity tacked onto it, and a MASSIVE amount of damage and area coverage. It also complements his kit incredibly well; knockup into ult is very viable, as is ult into water cannon, and his 2 can make chasing down an enemy and setting up the ult very easy.

Do you ever reminisce on what you’ve done in smite? You had such a huge impact on me when I was a young teen. I learned almost everything I know in smite from you, and it’s funny because being decent in smite was probably the only good thing I had in my life as a kid. I didn’t like any of the other smite channels either.

I appreciate that. I always did what I did because I wanted to help people in a way I knew how. I am happy that it helped you positively through some portion of life. Shockingly I actually still do play now! Funny how life circled me back to this game but its interesting to see how the game has evolved.
Athena's is very useful and I know Chang'e's isn't the most useful, but I love the potential of the longest stun in the game.

change's ult is the best teamfighting ultimate in the entire game if used properly. insane damage and insane stunduration if you hit 3+ people
Best ult and op ult in game lokis ult he can do ageis and what does that have to do with his ult you may ask he can go in ult and poison them then when the enemy is executed put on beeds or ageis this is a one of a kind ult and i think he forgot it was in the game.I think it should of been in the number one spot i heard its his opinion but you tellin he dont like an instant teleport that can kill someone in like 2 or 3 hits?

but without doubles mabey like not puttin odin zeus combo on 5 and hou yi odin on 4?

I've been very careful with all my lists to avoid clones. So no worries. If I do those combos I'll pick the best of those combinations.
I think Chang'e's ult is very useful. It can serve as an engage and mess up the enemy team for yours to pick them off.
I know Hades is normally last picked but with a good build and a 3 ability wombo combo you can get easy 1-5 combo kills and with this I went 25-0 in joust and I'm not that good. The best part is that once the super is active they have to use a relic or an escape ability to get out but if you time it right like just after they used theirs a quick ultimate will end them. (Btw his super is good but not good alone it is his other abilities that make him good)
How about best wombo combos? Like kumbha plus Scylla ults?

I think Thanatos should be on the list. You can execute a god that is has 40% of their maximum HP. And if they use sanctuary ( I miss it being called aegis) there's still the stun you have to deal with which can be followed up with his 1. You can also use it for it's ganking potential or just to traverse the map quickly.
I think thanatos should be number 3 or 4 because while thy have to be low for him to get the kill, if you have a late game team fight and they are all relatively close to one or taking the same escape route than has huge cleanup potential as when used well, his ulti lets him fly, with increased movement speed and at max level can obliterate a god at 40% hp. Just something to think about

you didn't mention the stacking effect of kills in Odin's ring which can make a big difference in the end game.

Didn't they remove the ability to use sanctuary while using an ability?
late game it seems that odins cage is up every 5 seconds(exaggerating of course) but its cooldown is to low
for someone who plays guardian a lot there is nothing more annoying than the two execute ults, adding to they annoyance khepris ult is ignored against them. also both scylla and kukulkans ult both can one hit any mage assassin or Hunter that don't build any protection

You may or may not incude the passivs... and its not about "this god is good, this is bad" but rather...
This kid interesting because it does this and that... it can still be bad for the god who got it (for example Hades or Cabraken).

I think khepri might have a better ultimate compared to Odin in a team fight scenario but I still think he list is fine the way it is. Still a great video!

Pretty sure Osiris passive fully stacked lets him walk through Odin cage too?
Also considering you've done passives and Ultimates, I feel it's about time you do best overall kit. This could be split between 1 v 1s and Conquest or not, as well as it could be split into the different roles in Smite (ADC, Support, mid, Solo and Jungle)
Lots of options with this idea, can't wait to see if you do anything with it

....guess I'll be the first give my own list xD
5) Ares. While can be countered easily, its still an instant activation, AND the damage still goes through in most cases.
4) Janus. Same reasons, but very limited in arena.
3) Thor/Thanatos. Its a tie for me. While Thantos can exacute, your unlikely to get it without an ambush, BUT both are useful in that they stun multible targets, and both setup bursts very well.
2) Kali. Again similar reasons.
1) Ao Kuang. Because im biased >_> I love him. But that aside, it looks beast, its easier for him to use due to his 1, and although it can be countered by anti cc, if the target is low enough on health that Ao can either just kill, or wait a moment before executing them.
Sylvannus imo should be on this list Ik your reasoning for it but that Ult is amazing

Probably one of the most average ultimates. Powerful but with too many flaws. Its just a well balanced ultimate.

I personally like ra line ultimate more. does a bit more damage but doesn't go as far or create portals. plus it's more satisfying to hit.
I like how my 2 favorite gods are on this list.... ratatoskr and Janus.
i feel like bacchus ult should get an honorable mention. i have ruined many an enemy team with that one. ^.^ great support as well when no one can properly run. good list only one i that i might argue would be zhong kui, but like that's just my opinion man.

Agree with number 5,3,2 and 1, but i dont know about ratatoskr. Id rather have a Chang'e ult there. Even if they can purify it, late game 1 ult + 1 equals team fight won.

Problem is if you get HIT by it. You're fucked since he can haul your ass off to your inevitable demise at the hands of his teammates.
