Yes, and even in a favorable wind, the risk doesn’t seem worth the extra 20’-30’ it provides…assuming your throw in game is on point! :)
It makes me wonder how the stats would look if they were to include the drop zone plays in the percent of pars. Like how much of that percent is drop zone play vs. how many are actual pars.
My guess is that a lot of players haven’t figured out the DZ rules/strategy yet. I hadn’t until I sat down to analyze the hole for this video.
