What a time to be into disc golf these last couple of years.
The holy shot, paul becoming 6x, 17-year-old winning USDGC, Tattar ripping a whole divison like it was cake, Simon breaking out as both a dad and an actual scoring top player, Eagli winning european open playing leftie, all these incredible new player... and to top it off Mr. Love Incarnate, Matty-O, cashing the most deserved win ever. These are electric times, folks.

And don't forget Ohn finally taking one down too. Her first big one at 42 years old is pretty great too

After 22 years of following Matt's career (which includes 2 years of losing to him in ams), through many of its twists and turns, I cannot accurately describe how happy this makes me. But honestly, if I really needed for Matt to win big titles in order for me to consider him one of the best players ever, I wouldn't really be a disc golf fan.
The whole disc golf world celebrates this event. Nobody deserves the win more.

After 1 round of use, they became too understable for his arm speed!
I've seen him during practice rounds at his home course sign discs for kids, even though he was trying to have a private practice round. He's a great role model in how he handles himself.
Happiest kid ever. Future disc golf pro from that moment on.
I live near eagle, and he does that alot! Met him a couple times and he's an amazing player and person
Full body chills when Matty stuck the island on 18. The hugs from the crowds, Ricky just waiting to give him some love….. what a fucking moment.
The best live disc golf viewing experience I've had so far. Jomez did a nice job trying to recreate that progression of events.

Also Robinson winning worlds with his dad caddying his last round and the big celebration at the end with all of the prodigy boys. This has been a great season for the viewers with not just amazing playing but also great storylines.

I'm glad Big Jerm said it, but how could you not feel emotional about Matty O. winning? So well deserved after working so hard for decades. Simon a class act thinking about his buddie while losing. Great back to back years here with Simon and Matty coming from behind to take it. Great job Jomez!

Avoided live coverage and waited for Jomez to watch my two favorite players duke it out. Not at all what I expected, but a very satisfying result. 🙂
I got the trial so I could watch live for the first time. Not what I expected at all but really great to see Gossage and Orum dominate. Live showed lotes of footage of Orum waiting for lead card to finish it was pretty cool, but also took forever 😆

That lay-up! I am literally sitting in the train on my way to work holding back tears. Such a powerful moment! The tension was unbearable - can't fathom how he kept his cool under the pressure and made that throw with precision.

Simon and Calvin are my two favourite players, so going into this round I was pretty stoked to see them tied for the lead. Turns out I'm even happier to see that neither of them won. This has been a long time coming and well deserved. Congrats Matty-O.

Loved how Matty took off his glasses on the tee of the last hole. Don't remember seeing him do that before and it felt like a sign of some inner change in that moment.

I always watch chase card first and they are so good at not giving spoilers but on this one occasion they had to. I couldn't believe what I was watching and I'm so glad to have been dialed in the see Matty O's first major win. It's been a long time coming and he's always right there in striking distance. What a great final round. My favorite win of the season.

I have never been happier at the result of a sports event in my entire life. Never. At this point, with how strong the field is, it's never a guarantee that any great player will get a big win. We all thought it was bound to happen eventually, but of course couldn't really be 100% sure... but here it is. Let's absolutely fuckin GO, Matty-O!
