Very intelligent open discussion. She will be a great leader in Justice and constitutional development. We need these open and frank discussions. Intellectual maturity is the key here. She would get stuff done. I could understand how she could step on toes because she is vocal. I think we need that.

His disappointment is palpable when he presses on about VBS and Mandisa says "There was no evidence". Isn't this what makes a person innocent, the fact that you are accused but there's no evidence. And Julius has repeatedly said that if the EFF top leaders were involved, ANC and all the haters would have wasted no time to arrest them.

This guy who sounds like a foreign national speaks rubbish about the EFF, he must go back to Zim and help the citizens there to vote for the right party, as for Mandisa, we really liked you in the EFF but you were too loose to be honest, how you used to unsilt EFF members in meeting was not fairly fashionable, but we ended adapting to you uncontrolled rage during meeting.
I personally liked Mandisa so much even if she insulted me on 1 email. But I loved her leadership style because she was very intelligent leader of the EFF, I still wish her to come back.

      @@rosina1998 Where to begin?
      1) Its a blatantly racist and hypocritical party that promotes envy and hatred.
      2) Its a fascist party, encouraging its supporters to use violence against its political oponents (and therefore, should not even be allowed to exist as a party)
      3) It doubles down on Marxist economic policies that failed miserably wherever they were tried, and that would doom South Africa to complete collapse if ever the EFF gained power.
      4) They constantly flip flop on issues based on convenience.
      5) It clearly is nothing more than a vehicle of self enrichment for Malema and his cronies at the expense of their gullible supporters, and all of South Africa. The EFF is a cult party of Malema, that cannot exist without him at the helm.
In short, its a mafia party that doubles down on everything that is wrong with the ANC, and will accelerate South Africa's destruction faster than a rock falling on Jupiter. Its a party that generates a lot of hot air and not much else. I have the same contempt for the EFF than what I had for the AWB.

      @@Hannodb1961 alright I hear you.
I personally believe that a Marxist system can never work due to its repressive nature and it's disregard for the Individual. However we can not deny some of the things that the EFF points out as issues that need to be dealt with in this country. The economic Inequality, or rather the land issue...The majority is still disadvantaged ..as an FF+ voter, what's your take on that? What do you think should be done to close the economic gap and for the land issue to be resolved. ?🙏

@@rosina1998 The only system that has proven itself time and again to lift the most amount of people out of poverty is the free market economy based on merit. The older I get, the more certain I become of this. We need to put the most qualified people in the most important positions, especially when it comes to critical infrastructure like Eskom. The role of the state is not to lift people out of poverty, but to give them the tools to lift themselves out of poverty. These tools are a reliable electrical grid, sewage treatement, water, garbage proccessing, and education. Grants for higher education should be based on socio economic considerations as well as grades. Race should not be a consideration for anything, because that will only entrench racism and patronage. Basically, the short answer is we need to get as many people economically productive in the formal sector as possible. We need cut beurocratic red tape and especially taxes for small and medium businesses to make it easier for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and even provide tax insentives to hire more people. It is private inisiative, not public beurocracy, that will save South Africa. As a simple example of this in principle, is Orania. Here is a town that is entirely privately run and owned that is putting almost every municipality in the country to shame. The Xhosa community of Mnyameni signed a cooperation agreement with Orania in order to help them become more independant from the state and self reliant. We need more communities to adopt this model. Another thing we can look at is the financial sector in Orania. You have the Groeifonds where people from outside the town invest in businesses inside the town and help them grow. Imagine the posibilities if there was a financial interface between the suburbs and the townships like that. People from wealthier areas can then safely invest in township businesses. The business owner gets the capital he needs to grow his business, and the investor makes a return on investment. We need to look at win-win solutions like this, and we dont need to look far. The examples already exist, we just need to getvrid of our ideological glasses and look at the empirical evidence of places that suceeded.
In order to make this work, we need to do thevexact oposite of what the ANC did. Instead of centralizing power and decision making as far as possible, we need to desentralse power and decision making as far as possible, bringing the power as close to the ground and communities as possible. Only then will people feel engagedcand motivated enough to make a difference. The devolution of as much as possible power to the local level is one of the core tenets of FF policy.

The whole global warming thing is a bandwagon that every politician in the world is trying to exploit one way or the other. Good to hear her reject this ideology. Seriously, though, I think she lacks an understanding of how the free market economy works, along with so many other politicians including most of the ANC and the entire EFF. As a country, assuming you care about the economy, you cannot keep all your "stuff" for your own consumption, unless you can make everything you need in-country including cellphones, aircraft, etc (you never hear Germans complaining about all the stuff they export) and even then, this is not sound policy; you cannot insist that all investment/ownership of businesses be domestic or "equitable" across racial groups; and you cannot claim all the land because you are of a certain color (to be fair, she did not state her opinion on this, perhaps for lack of time).

The one thing that concerns me most about her is that she does not understand the proportuinal system, because if she did, she would not want to go back to a constituent system. The first past the post system forces you into a two party system, and dont think just because you have a constituency doesnt mean the party wont have control over you. Also, constituencies can be gerry mandered to keep the ruling party in control. And lastly, the only way to get the ruling party voted out is if all oposition voters unite behind one party. If neither party speaks to your values, you wont see the benefit of voting, creating massive apathy among many voters and leaving minorities without a voice. The problem she expressed has nothing to do with the electoral system, and everything to do with the parties she was part of. She does not seem to understand that every party has its own structures and organisation, and just because her parties were controlled top down by an authoritarian elite, doesnt mean that is the reality of every party. The last thing we need now is tampering with the electoral system before the 2024 election. The electoral system is literally the difference between us and Zimbabwe, between having a realistic chance of kicking the ANC out with a coalition that better represent the desires of South Africans, and a one party government with pseudo democratic pretense. The proportional system is only now evolving into the multiparty coalition politics itvalways was supposed to be. If we tamper with it now, we'll miss our chance and hand power back to a globalist self serving elitethat cannot be removed.

I would like to comment on this topic. In the first I would like to mention that,it is really difficult for me to follow what question is she trying to answer as she sound to be all over
She is budging a lot about herself than the real subject where we expect to have the answer, thanks to the journalist who keeps on reminding her to get back to relevant topic. We really appreciate everything to know everything about her, but people would like to know about more about that topic. She really doesn't sound convincing and strong enough like people like Julius Malema who always calls a spade a spade, and doesn't give a damn who like him or not,as long as he has confidence enough to say what he kows r believe in, as she sounded shacky and having no confidence as some of the questions sounded difficult for her

She likes to generalize people and in particular white men. Maybe they treat her in the way they do, because that is what she expects from them. Respect is mutual. If you don't expect someone to respect you, chances are you won't respect them to start off with, which will obviously lead to you not being respected in return.

I have a hard time understanding how an intelligent thinking person can (at one time) endorse the EFF ideology. Or admire Winnie Mandela for that matter. Ownership/management of the means of production by (inevitably) corrupt and incompetent politicians just does not work ... as has been proven in every country that has gone down that path. But like Catholicism, the ideology survives based on the promise of salvation, even if that salvation is never delivered. If you think socialism under the ANC is bad, communism is 10x worse. "Religion is the opiate of the masses" ... one could say the same thing about communism.
