The original "History Lesson, Part II" is one of my favorite song ever, and it takes a great band like The Hold Steady to do such a heartfelt tribute to it, and to Minutemen, and to D. Boon, and to Paul Westerberg, and 😌

This could be the most meaningful, lovely song ever written. Punk rock changed my life.

I appreciate the cover, but have mixed feelings about the customization of the lyrics. Seems a bit sacreligious. Then again, what would Watt think about it? He would probably approve.
