At least someone can see bright side of AI ally. First thing what come in my mind was:" Nice, they try out they new trebushet what they get 5minutes before and training shoot with that on something".Cant see nothing bad there! ( Yellow evan make resign enemy in few seconds. Imo word record from time when led army ot of city 2 time when make enemy surrender.)

Well to be fair to the Hojo Clan, they were fighting a defensive war before Biper sweep Taira's forward base to relief them (check timestamp like 27:30 to see dead enemies in their base) . Actually in my first try of this campaign I managed to abandon them to point that they were defeated because I didn't help them fast enough lol.
Viper lucky to have such great allies. First the Ostrogoths back in the Attila campaign and now the Hojo.

I just played this mission, but took quite different approach. I went full tower defense mode and with all those loads of spare stone just spammed yasama+arrowslits keeps, they were extremely helpful against that spam. Even being capable of holding one of the sides by themselves barring teal trebs.
I also tried duel Minamoto against emperor and spoiler allert...... Minamoto loses badly. A SHAMEFUL DISPLAY!!
Lastly very nice seeing you play all campaigns, must be a nice relief from the regular pro games. Keep it up :)

orange does not start producing till you take the castle and gain the city so i microed the two cav archers and defeated green and 3 generals, only took me three hours, turns out they still sling before they can produce so my master plan of them having 0 resources failed and they had stockpiled when i checked the achievements 156,000 tribute, still the micro was intresting.
Hey viper, you should wall out the hojo using your quick save and then have the duel of fates in a highlight or edited video. @TheViperAOC

Has anyone played this scenario in DE? Overall difficulty seems to be decreased a lot. There are no towers at all in Kyoto. In addition, your ally will be automatically advanced to imperial age when you send trebuchet to form an alliance.

they won't, the fight would be solved easily and they will be unified faster than China
Strela so they wont fight each other if they were inland? Maybe, but lets imagine they were close to Europe, but still keeping their culture with civil wars and fragile governments, im sure they wouldnt last for long idk...
they will fight each other, but conflicts would be solved quicker and the losing family would have nowhere to hide. Taira for examples, hid for several months when pushed back to Shikoku, prolonging the war they couldn't win anymore.

I dont like the TFK's campaign scenarios cause they designed the maps so organized and contained, and some textures on the woods and rocks in them give a weird feeling. But seeing Viper playing it make me feel like this is a movie (esp when on marijuana)
