Oh Connie! I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see a get ready with me video the way we used to do our makeup before UA-cam. It gets ridiculous at times to see ladies bring out 3 and 4 huge eyeshadow pallets, numerous makeup brushes, and drawing all over their faces with numerous products. By the time they are finished they do not even look like themselves anymore! Makeup is just supposed to enhance and not be a mask. This video was great! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well, miss Connie, you've got to be the most beautiful over 70. Make a part as there is on the internet. I'm so glad you don't use filters. That really gets on my nerves. When people use those cause you can't see what they're really doing or what they makeup. Really looks like and it bothers me. But I can see what you're doing and what you're makeup looks like and it looks great. And who wants to be deceived by someone who's got everything, filtered and dim lights and faces far away. I absolutely cannot believe that you’re going to be 77 and 16 days I’m going to be 80 you have given me new. Hope I have had cancer lost my hair from the chemo. Thank God my hair all grew back in sick and lovely as ever I’m probably even better but my face is kind of shot and I haven’t had much hope for myself until I watched you. One thing I've noticed is Connie knows not to rub her face hard. That is one of the things that will cause wrinkles and sagging is to dig at your skin and you see some of these people telling us to do that when that's A no no. As miss Connie knows, it's a no no. You have such lovely skin, but to be honest, I was a bit skeptical with the eye makeup when you started. But it turned out soooo great and quite pretty.
It's also so refreshing to see a lovely warm deep pink lipstick, too!! I'm so tired of the always nude, nude, nude lip color, UGH!
The stretchy hair band things on your wrists are a great tip to keep the elbows dry when washing the face and pretty much the sink top dry, too.
Amazon also sells these wrist bands in a thick terrycloth material with elastic sewn in to give them plenty of stretch.

I'm about your age and I really like how you use makeup to get a nice, finished look (but not cakey or heavy on your face)! I'll definitely use some of your application tips!

You have beautiful skin! My makeup routine is so similiar to yours I wear nearly the identical amounts of makeup, I love True Match foundation. What is the eyeliner you are using, I like the thicker brush applicator with the one you are using. I also just recently started using a primer on my eyelids and I find it really enhances the eye shadow I use each day and allows it to be blended easier. Thanks for a great video!

Hello, I'm curious in the area where you apply makeup what type of lighting are you using ? Hopefully it's not florescent, florescent isn't friendly it all basically the worst, check your makeup outside in the natural lighting its surprisingly how we can easily look "over made up" compared to what we see with florescent light 😮

HI . Sorry. I will hold them up longer next time but here is what I used. Neautrogina foundation.# 60, black Mabeline pencil lightly, then brown shadow on top to set. Almay mascara, "I METHOD" EYE LINER ,any pink blush or lipstick.(even 99cent ones) and a fushia lip liner. connie :)

HI Maria! I worked nites my whole life so not much sun. I Always wear sun glasses out doors and cleansed my skin with " white safeguard soap" up until about 5 years ago.and moisturized with OLAY.. I always ate healthy ,I never slept on my face and I 'v used "Clear surgical tape" on my 11's for 17 yrs, or so. Also I'v maintained my wieght at 120 lbs. I'm Latin .Spanish and Mexican.( my mom is a Dominguez :) and I might add I'v sang and danced my whole life. connie sanchez murphy :)
What does your make up look like. Well out of date quite frankly especially the hard black lines round your eyes.
Also highlighting your nose why? Highlighters are made to bring out certain features. Certainly never put it on your nose it draws attention to your nose and makes it look much bigger than it is. Not something I would want
