Came across this as I’ve ordered the STOMP (I’m in the UK) and I’m just browsing a few reviews. I had exactly the same issues with my more recent Air Turn that you describe - felt a bit flimsy, complicated pairing system, connection frequently dropped out, sometimes I couldn’t even turn it off! Piece of junk - I look forward to my Stomp arriving any day now!

Awesome video! We appreciate the mention! Just as a heads up we've produced 2 newer models of that DUO BT-105 pedal from AirTurn! It's been revised Twice!
The new ones can be programmed to send any Key, or Key combination. Or mouse clicks. Oh yeah.....and MIDI!
If you are interested in a new model just reach out through our website! Thank you!

Thanks so much for the great review!
Just a few notes that you might find helpful:
    1. The sleep mode activates after 25 minutes but it doesn't actually turn the pedal off...it just turns the LEDs off. As soon as you press a footswitch again it is active - no need to press the power button again :)
    2. The four modes are Left Arrow/Right Arrow, Up Arrow/Down Arrow, Page Up/Down, Space/Enter. Different apps function with different key commands so we've included the most popular options.
    3. The blue status LED changes to red when you reach 25% battery life, which still leaves plenty of time to finish a gig and replace the batteries later.

Coda Music. So if I install a battery, but use my pedalboard power supply to power the unit, will the battery just be there, being not used, essentially just waiting to be used as a backup? I hope that makes sense

@@eli14eli14 yes that is exactly correct. You can install a battery and it will not drain unless you use the pedal while not connected to 9VDC power.

This was a good review. And I agree with you about the ease of changing batteries. But I wish, wish, wish you would have done a concise video on how to install the battery. Nowhere on YT is there a vid for how to install the battery. Plus I might also mention that the instructions that come with it are terrible! Good review. I'm a professional jazz musician so I was excited to a get a pedal for my android tablet. I also like that you compared it to the other pedal which my friend has and I just ordered, but I think I'll send that back. I'm really rough on my equipment so I like that this is made in America and has a steel body.

@@stuff.church thank you for even thinking about it. Coda Music put up a battery intallation video, probably because I cried to their CS, LOL!
