Oh my he's so handsome and attractive! I think he gets easily overshadowed by Sam, especially since he plays someone we all love to hate and he does it so well.
+Daisy Gaeta I totally agree. I mean Sam Heughan is a wonderful actor too but there's something about Tobias and his acting skills that draw you in. He definitely doesn't get the attention he deserves!
First of all I want to say how utterly charming Tobias is. He's such the complete gentleman. Thank you for the interview. And I want to say thank you to the young lady who was very well comported and I loved her questions. A rarity for the six minute soundbite interview.
If Tobias weren't in the show I probably would have lost interest. None of the roles I've seen him play are boring or predictable. He's a good singer too ("forget me not") and what a sense of humor!
Me cautivó Tobías es extraordinario !!! Realmente hace que uno lo ame de malo o de bueno y en su vida normal muy carismático …que lindo sería conocerlo se ve que es una bella persona!!
It's so funny watching the series I have so much sympathy for Jamie not because he's the good guy but his brave but also caring and selfesst character is what I like. Seeing the actors in real life though I like tobias so much more than Sam haha. Tobias is very witty and charming
Awww, his favourite time period is Weimar Republic Berlin, awesome! There you go Tobias's Tribe, that makes him one degree separated from Alan Cumming in Cabaret.
That jarred me, too. Tobias is such a pro - he very graciously didn't point out their mistake, but DID provide the correct years in his responses. Otherwise, for a pair of urban Americans (who aren't likely to familiar w/historical Britain) that obviously haven't even HEARD of the book, they asked fairly intelligent questions (and had the grace to admit when they were about to ask trite questions).
Black Jack is really going to shock people who haven't read the books. He is a very nasty and complex character. The books were explicit so I wonder how that will translate to tv....definitely some scenes coming up that aren't kid friendly.
Not at all kid friendly but masterfully realistic. I watched the Wentworth prison episode at least 5 times. It was incredible! If both Tobias and Sam don't win some kind of award for that performance I don't know who can.
Mr. Menzies is a big fan of berlin, good idea dear! Berlin between the wars was a period of hyper inflation and hyper unemployment. The roaring twenties were exciting for less and very difficult for most of the berliner, like in every other big city in europe. Stefan Zweig described it very well in "The world of yesterday" (right translation?). This bad situation is one reason caused unfortunately the fundament for nazi success some years later.
2020 .... New Bond. Played M's assistant in Casino Royale. Later said the character was done and wouldn't be coming back. Might've been dispute with producers... But, it would be a great way to continue the franchise.... Just sayin
I wish I was on the Outlander bandwagon back 6 years ago. Anyway, is it me, or is the female interviewer digging Tobias? I do not blame her. Team Tobias here! Team Randalls: Frank and Black Jack bring necessary tension to Outlander.
He is the reason why I started to watch OUTLANDER -- his voice is so sexy , too
Can we take a moment and appreciate that voice tone, smile and talent?
Yes!!!!!!
Yes...he's lovely...
He's mesmerizing
What amazes me about Tobias is his features, stance, and demeanor totally change with the two characters. He's a brilliant and versatile actor.
Tobias is just a cutie.
I'm just going on around youtube, gushing about the guy. Brilliant actor, man! He's amazing!

Oh my... Watching this makes me relive how I remember him. He's very handsome when standing right in front of you. ☺️
playing Black Jack Randall is a juicy role for an actor and i have faith in Menzies to do this role justice
His smile...😍

Actually I love his voice and the way he talks
If Tobias weren't in the show I probably would have lost interest. None of the roles I've seen him play are boring or predictable. He's a good singer too ("forget me not") and what a sense of humor!
He is hot!!! and intelligent and that accent....
He is so talented and such a handsome man.
so cute humble sexy deep voice those lines oh his face ....accent ..a.ahhhhh
I can actually get past hating your face seeing BlackJack Randall. :-) Tobias is actually quite handsome and likable. You play your parts wonderfully!

@@Bob.builter Deliciosos suit's him down to ground...
Menzies comes across as really charming. I also thought that the interviewers were really friendly without coming across as pandering.
his voice and so hot and sexy and actor admirable
Valeria Demetrius oh yes we can share?!
Me cautivó Tobías es extraordinario !!! Realmente hace que uno lo ame de malo o de bueno y en su vida normal muy carismático …que lindo sería conocerlo se ve que es una bella persona!!

Awesome interview. LOVE Tobias!
Excellent Tobias!

Great actor love his roles
What a man❤
Excellent interview, love it!! Thank you!!
I like Tobias in this interview best. Alot more at ease, laughing!

Menzies seems like a really good person, but that doesn't diminish my affection for Heughan.
He's HOT...
Tobias you are a great actor💕
Wow...... ein ganz toller Mann!!
Wonderful interview!
Greetings from Germany!!
His voice is perfect
I've seen quite a few of his interviews and quite frankly, the questions are the same. He should entertain questions from fans.
Cute!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant actor making two opsitives papers on the series I get very afraid just by seeing his face amaizing
I love this man muwaaaahhhhh
Awww, his favourite time period is Weimar Republic Berlin, awesome! There you go Tobias's Tribe, that makes him one degree separated from Alan Cumming in Cabaret.
Mi amor.
18th and 20th centuries, not 17th and 19th lol. great interview though.

I was just about to point out the same thing. :)
David Allen "a pair of urban Americans" really...?
He probably meant to say the 1700's and 1900's.
David Allen a pair of "Urban Americans"?? don't be so rude! Your comment was completely inappropriate and unnecessary.
Is Tobias a strange name in England and the United States? It's quite common in my country. Tobias Menzies is great in both roles, I love him!
I wouldn't say that it's common in the U.S.. Not sure about England. Where are you from?
good interview
Good interview :-)
My kind of man
Black Jack is really going to shock people who haven't read the books. He is a very nasty and complex character. The books were explicit so I wonder how that will translate to tv....definitely some scenes coming up that aren't kid friendly.
I haven't read the books, so did the show meet your expectations of Jack Randall? And the scenes he's in?
Not at all kid friendly but masterfully realistic. I watched the Wentworth prison episode at least 5 times. It was incredible! If both Tobias and Sam don't win some kind of award for that performance I don't know who can.

I hope the male interviewer knows he should have said: 18th and 20th centuries (not 17th and 19th centuries).
LOVE Frank! Here is a new FB page just for him: facebook.com/frankrandalloutlander/
People need to understand their “centuries”..... 1700s=18th century.
LOL "It starts in 1945 ... and there's a Car couple ..." LOL
Do You know that there are combustion engines from 1879!!?? LOL!! and Can you imagine British economy after a devastating war!!??
Tobias has "Car" on the brain! LOL
17th & 19th Centuries ? That guy needs to go back to school.
