Just brought a 1981 Z750 here in Australia, well I really swapped it for a TDM 850 with extra parts for the Z. I am very impressed with the power of the old 750 engine and wifey loves the sound 😊
Nice one, mate - well done! I had an L1, with the round headlamp, finished in silver with blue markings on the tank. Bought it new in Melbourne in 1981, put a Gear Sack and rack on the back, an air seat and a 3/4 fairing; other that that, it was stock. Made it a nice touring bike for the distances that we have here in Australia.
This was my first new bike just oit of HS, same year and color. Would be so cool to have another. I recall it missing gear shifts more than other bikes I had at that time.

Even back in the 80s these were rare most people I knew if they had a Kawasaki they had the ltd or gpz these were beautiful bikes

real nice bike i had the 84' 700 model i paid $1350. in the mid 1990's as my first bike i also had a kerker pipe and header

What battery are you using?
Mine is 12ah Yuasa but keeps getting drained even with new regulator. Should I change the batt?
