- After having had two psychiatrists assess my readiness for lower surgery, I have now been given approval and allocation of funding. I now just have to wait for the London team to accept the referral and then await a date for surgery! Exciting times!

Congrats Finn, I understand the butterflies!!!!! Your journey started out slow but has really ran smoothly after you started T. I have, myself, been going back and forth about Phallo. I have a consult at the end of February, however he's booked a year out already... I believe that everyone is different as far as 'sexual' arousal. I know for me my dysphoria is bad to where I don't want any signs of female genitalia. So, I will be burying and closing up. I have a buddy who just had phallo done and his sensation/sensitivity has not disappeared and had (right after surgery) many orgasms buy just moving the phallus. Everyone is different. I would say analyze your dysphora and see if it would bother you having it exposed in public (changing in a gym, etc...). Hope this helped. Take Care Buddy.
Hi Ethan, yes, that does help. I think, as long as there are no additional complications, that ld like everything that's not supposed to be there, to be got rid of. It's not easy working this out is it? And there are still so many little details to workout within the op itself. So much to weigh up. In the end l knew I wouldn't be happy if l didnt try for phallo, meta stopped being a viable option and staying as l am just doesn't feel right so the risk is worth it for me. Hey fin, I was wondering if there anyway to gage how thick an rff would be and is there a certain distance from the wrist/ elbow that they start the graft from? Many thanks as always
Hello my friend! In general, it all depends on the size of your arms. The thicker and fatter your forearm, the girthier your penis will be. The graft size also depends on your arm. They like to aim for about 5 to 6 inches, the graft starts just bellow the knuckle of your wriist, how far it goes up depends on the length of your forarm and roughly where 6 inch maz ends from your knuckle of your wrist. I asked Mr Christopher to draw the template on my arm, so that I could have an idea of how big the graft would be and where it would start and end on my arm. Perhaps when you have your consult yu could ask if they might fo that for you?
