Got 8 weeks off work (surgery recovery) - trying this but using eco line pens / aqua pen and struggling at the shading steps - it’s been too long

Neo-Trad also varies the line weights so it's not all that heavy outline for the whole tattoo, allowing a more 3-D kind of effect. Another killer job. I ordered your sticker pack yesterday so I can't wait to get that.

Thank you for another great tutorial!😊 I have a question. The black color I have is the W&N indian ink that I use when drawing with nib. I think it is really good for linework, but when I use this for spitshading, I think it is really hard to shade it. It almost burn into the paper, when I apply the initial paintstroke. So when I try to make it gradient, it just looks f##ked up😥 Is for example Liquitex carbon black ink better to use or is there just a matter of skill? I use 300g coldpressed 100% cotton paper, and squirrel brushes when painting flash. If you have any tips I would be grateful! Love your work and talent😊🤘
