Hey Jon, great work! This has (as the F-16) nice LEDs as I stated before and I almost ordered this one because of that and the full span ailerons. But I stayed with the Rafale 64mm because I like more the slow flying and I´ll try some mod to make her more aerobatic as you told (full span?). But I ordered the LEDs and covers for $5 to put them on the Rafale :D. Nice belly landings but I had the feeling that the Rafale would do that better too since I have damaged the at least the nose of my F-16 64m V3 trying to land slow on high alpha. And wow, you bought this jet! The stickers did a nice job on that haniging nose haha. The hand grab on pavement (should fly DLGs xD good job!!) was great :) And she did not get too much damage on that almost full speed low roll !? awesome! Also nice the lesson from Alejandro @RC4ever / @Airguardian :D awesome scale fighter action on his channel too! He inspired me for my Mirage :)) although being a dumb new pilot xD ua-cam.com/video/UntXAt2gvH0/v-deo.htmlsi=Jx-lSjTQp315Asf3&t=90
Check out the very back of the wings where they meet the fuselage. I can move the wing up and down at the back. It may move during aileron inputs, causing instability. Let me know what you think.
Okay, thank you. Mine twitches on the roll access as if the gain is to high on gyro. When I turn it off it still does it. Weird...I'm running the Reflex V3 gyro.
I'm finally moving to Kinston by end of month. I think your a tad farther from me , but hope to meet you in time. Would be fun to fly with you. Been flying for 40yrs, I just won't have a plane until I find a job,
That's a good distance from here. Not too far, but not close either. If you're ever in the area, feel free to let us know on Discord. Might be possible to meet up.
Stick bashing is unrelated to the crash. I mean stick bashing cuz you weren’t performing the typical maneuver you’ve become knows for after the nose broke off. I love speed so it was cool to see you bash the sticks around for basically aileron turns.
I know this is just an opinion but I think J10 are the ugliest of the Doritos. I saw a dude put a 6S system in the 64mm Rafale and that thing was insane
me too. until i got given a very old TWM J10-B (the later variant with the Big Gulp air intake) which is about this size but 70mm, so has an over-scale intake to boot. It's an ugly model of an ugly plane, but it flies awesome - designer really made it fly great first and look good... um infinitieth. So now I look at it and see it as beautiful because it flies rad.
Most planes are designed to balance nose heavy, cause that balances out the pitching moment of a wing. For the goal of making an aircraft fly, nose heavy is what you want. When you leverage augmented stability and/or different lifting balances then going neutral or aft CG, than that allows the flexibility for aft cg agility, which gives pitching and rolling moments the most effect on an aircraft.
Mostly what Airhead said, but also because it simply just makes a plane fly *easier* for someone who's not used to an aft CG. It'd be nice to have the option to go further back without having to chop something up though.
6:20 - Amazing!!!
1. Awesome to see the runway clean/ manicured
2. Absolutely true about it pitching up at high speeds
Great video!!!
Thank Jon for the details!
I did the maiden flight of mine today with 6 batteries and I really liked this blue J-10. It flies great!
Glad you like it! Just watch out for that nasty pitch-up tendency from being nose heavy.
Hand launched that thing like a baseball!!!! So rad 😂😂
That nose flopping around 🤣🤣🤣
The running was pure gold 😂
🏃♂️
Thanks for the review. I just got mine and looking forward to the maiden 👍
August 1st looking good! Even with a booger hanging from its nose 😅
It’s amazing what you do with foamies, I’m looking forward to some balsa jet content with your type for flying.
One of these days!

We do buy stuff on a regular basis. Not sure why FMS didn't just send this one out to people though. Hope you enjoy yours!
Awesome vid man! You should make a video on the new Eflite sportix
Beautiful n nice plane

Unlikely given the speeds this jet is flying at. The air is most likely not affecting it that much.
Okay, thank you. Mine twitches on the roll access as if the gain is to high on gyro. When I turn it off it still does it. Weird...I'm running the Reflex V3 gyro.
Thanks for the videos, looking forward to your thoughts on the Sportix ,since your piloting skills have surpassed all the other influencers😊
Horizon didn't send one to us, but we might pick it up at some point.
@ well, I hope they send you one because I rely on your thoughts.thanks

What structural materials you use to build your RC aircraft ?
We don't build these.
Nice camera work. Is this the first vid where you just stick bashed a jet?
Stick bashed? We've crashed before, but this is the first time we've put something into the ground like this.
Stick bashing is unrelated to the crash. I mean stick bashing cuz you weren’t performing the typical maneuver you’ve become knows for after the nose broke off. I love speed so it was cool to see you bash the sticks around for basically aileron turns.
IT FLIES THATS THE MAIN THING
🆗
what would you recommend the j10 or the fms 64mm rafale?
Depends on how you want to fly. The J-10 is faster and more agile at higher speeds, the Rafale is slower and more capable in post-stall.
@@TwoBrosRC ok thanks for the help
@@jaxonwhite2267 you should get an A6e as ur next jet in my opinion
Its nose heavy because its missing something. THRUST VECTOR NOZZLE. nose heaviness solved and a perfect airplane to be had.
64mm jets generally don't ship with TV.
Cant you addweight on tail change cg
We'd prefer not to do that with these smaller jets.
I know this is just an opinion but I think J10 are the ugliest of the Doritos. I saw a dude put a 6S system in the 64mm Rafale and that thing was insane
We think it's pretty cool, but everyone's got their own views lol

@@GarageExperimental The guys that fly them love them, and they make great turbine models
