I HAD TO TURN THE SOUND TO ZERO. on heaps of occasions. Why not just share the sound of wave and surf and your comments as they happen. Not a big deal, just some feedback.
Hey Conway, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I feel your pain with only catching Dart! Especially when there's a plague of little ones. But when you hook up to a descent legal one - they always put up a great fight. They use their whole body to create as much drag in the surf haha. Yeah definitely mix it up and give it a go! Maybe you'll be lucky with some tailor! Good luck and let me know how you go! 👍
Hi Jason, love your videos. I am new to fishing and find your video very helpful. How do you connect the Braid line to the leader and how long the leader line should be?
Hey Edward, that's great to hear, you're welcome :) I use a double uni knot to tie leader to braid. Regarding leader length, I generally use a "rods length" or between 1-2m. Just keep in mind the leader is used take abrasion on rocks, while braid will break. So leave enough leader to suit. Hope this helps, thanks for watching :)
Hey Jason! Great name 😆 This rod is quite a few years old and has some battle scars from all the fish it has fought! All my fishing gear setups or in my video description below. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊
It is about not taking everything from the sea. Sustainable fishing. Allowing the small fish to grow and breed. So there will be plenty of fish for the future.
Hello Sir, can you tell me which surf rod the best catching tailor on the beach 1-/ 5-9kg length 365cm .2/ - 7-12kg . 3/ 8-15kg +all the rod are the same length , with Daiwa 24 Certate Lt 5000D-Xh .Please let me know . Thank you for your time Sir .
Hey Sergio, tough question you got there. Alveys are a very tough and durable reel. Because of its simple build, it can be dunked in saltwater and endure the toughest of conditions with minimal maintenance. However, spinning reels, due to the complex and many part construction, they are more prone to failure, corrosion and seizing. Saying this, maintenance for spinning reels must be done regularly to keep it in smooth operation. On the other hand, spinning reels are superior for smoothness, casting distance, drag and a lot more. Hope this helps a bit :)
why do Aussies all have the reel handle on the wring side. The only time this makes sense is when you are using UK / Norway type beach gear and a big heavy multiplier. Watching this fella keep changing hands to cast etc is killing me
Good vid nice fish but yeah can the music dude. Its not a night club video. lol. Sorry but I just can't keep watching. I know I could just turn the sound off but I'm not into silent movies.
Great video. But cut the music its a bit loud and would rather hear the sound of the waves and birds.
Thanks for the feedback and watching ☺️

Hey Peter, thanks for the feedback. This video is three years old and I have taking on feedback for new videos. Thanks for watching 👍
love your crossfire set up, very uniform.
Thanks mate, I've upgraded the Daiwa Crossfire 4000 reel to the Daiwa BG 4000. Cheers for watching :)
First time I did beach fishing, I cast in chest deep water and return to the beach. I gained extra 100 yds ! Caught some big fishes too !
Chicken! Who knew!
Chicken is great for bait - no fishy smell!! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! 😊

Great vid, Specs of your Silstar ?
Hey Jason! Great name 😆
This rod is quite a few years old and has some battle scars from all the fish it has fought! All my fishing gear setups or in my video description below. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊
Why do you throw some fish back to water though they are not too small? Are they not edible?
Hey Wael, yes they are too small. Thanks for watching :)
They under legal size
It is about not taking everything from the sea. Sustainable fishing. Allowing the small fish to grow and breed. So there will be plenty of fish for the future.
Nice Tailor
Thanks David. This was my first legal tailor, was very happy 😊 check out my other videos for more tailor action! Thanks for watching 👍

The l4692"trex combo
Hi Jason. Are there any advantages Alvey reel vs usual spinning reel like yours Daiwa Crossfire?

Are dart any good to eat?
Hey mate, dart are delicious - straight on the frypan with salt and pepper 👌 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊
@@ImJasonFish no worries, I appreciate the reply, usually throw them back so that's good to know👍
Long one today buddy! Suppose it had to be to fit in all the action
Thanks for watching Ben. Couldn't fit all the catches today as it would make the video too lengthy haha.
what was the time?
In the morning mate. Thanks for watching ☺️

I don't understand it as well. I live in Australia and I find it... uncomfortable. Some sort of national habit
Maybe you have it on the 'wring' side in the UK
Because the center of gravity is different than in the UK plus all the UK convicts that came out here were cack handed.
Is that alvey a 600?
Hey mate, setups in the video description. Thanks for watching 😊
Location?
Why do you use chicken? Is it cheaper?
Hey mate, indeed chicken is a lot cheaper, doesn't smell and from personal experience - still gets bites. Give it a go! Thanks for watching 😊
@@ImJasonFish I will try it. Thank you for the reply. Is breast easiest to use?
Yes the breast stays on the hook better 👍
Its Buddina actually.
Couldn't wtch cuz the music was so f-ing loud
Hey mate, Thanks for the feedback. I have toned the music down with my current videos. Cheers for watching 👍
Wimp
Mate.. the music has to go please. Your other videos without music are far better.
Thanks for the feedback mate. This is a old video 👍
Good vid nice fish but yeah can the music dude. Its not a night club video. lol.
Sorry but I just can't keep watching. I know I could just turn the sound
off but I'm not into silent movies.

Ruined by crap music
Hey mate, this video was made two years ago. Plenty of feedback has been given in that time. Thanks for watching 👍
most annoying music ever.
that music is awful
What utter crap music disappointing.
Thanks for the feedback, what music do you recommend using?
Thanks for watching :)
@@ImJasonFish I like the music. Why don't you put the video on mute if you do not like it?
