i absolutely LOVED THIS CARTOON AND THE AWESOME DOLLS!! THE EIGHTIES HAD THE BEST COOLEST TOYS AND CARTOONS!! AND I LOVED THE CARTOON SHERA THE Cousin of heman! i was so poor in my childhood my mom couldnt afford to buy these jem dolls, but only once in a hwile she bought us a nice doll . she bought me and my sister the moon dreamers dolls which i also loved! and when i was in kindergarden and in first grade i wanted the strawberry shortcake dolls so much! and i went over a friends house and she had all of the strawberry shortcake dolls!
Omgsh, same here! I would get one or two She-Ra dolls for Xmas and and birthday. That was it. My family couldn't afford the Jem dolls though. Oh I wanted them badly too. They were SO BIG!
I had my little pony's too but again, I only got them for Xmas and bdays. I didn't have many of each so I would go to friends house to play with hers, but...it wasn't the same. It usually ended up making me feel awful that we couldn't afford them. Really sucked.
But yes, the 80s had some awesome toys for sure!

I didn't watch Jem much as a child, but this is something that an adult could watch with a real story line and drama. It seems that most of the cartoons now are simply silly.

As a kid I loved Jem and the Holograms, I even collected the comics. I wanted to watch it again but it seems Netflix has gotten rid of it.

I'm a guy and I have to admit I did watch this cartoon as a kid I had a friend and whenever she came over to play with me and my brother she wanted to watch JEM and I had to watch it with her and well I started liking it and I'm not ashamed to admit that it was a good cartoon.

azir351978bttm I get what your saying, but when we were kids these cartoons were us. like Disney movies, they were all animated and probably what we call THE CLASSICS. what kids see today is the original films/cartoons remade with actual actors or full on 3d 4d affects. the kids of today's will grow up and see these as originals and know them as classics.
