- The complete set of Superstar clips which are public service announcements found at the end of various episodes. Rhino had them as an extra, Shout had them placed at the proper location.
I just loved how Jem just popped out from nowhere, gave advices and left the girls by the roadside. Hehe~
imagine you're in a store and about to steal a tape/CD and the artist just comes up behind you to give you the business.XD
That's better than security or the store's undercover loss prevention catching you. Otherwise, that would be real trouble.

That needs to be a parody thing where Pizazz gives out the worst advice ever and then Stormer offers a correction for the audience.
That's pretty much what the animated version of Danger Dolan (of YT fame) DOES FOR A LIVING! Think Pizzazz (never forget the 4 "z's" when describing her) being Danger Dolan...

I remember watching all these PSAs at the end of the Jem and The Holograms and i watched every episode from 1985-1988. Every morning before i went to school, i watched Jem at 7 A.M This was when cartoons taught you wrong from right and had a lesson. I loved growing up in the 80s. I still watch the reruns
I watched 8 episodes of the show and only 8 on Dailymotion before/after school.
“Who was that?”
“I don’t know she said our parents were hurt”
“Your parents are safe at home, never listen to a stranger…now get in my car and I’ll take you to them.”

The first one is very accurate because all it takes to get preteen boys to stop doing something stupid is to have a pretty woman show them attention and they just get too confused and leave.

Totally. My dad used to send me to the corner store to get his smokes...I was 11. 😵
My aunt wouldn't let my young second cousin watch the cartoon till I showed her these. She was old world Italian and was terrified that she would become rebellious, promiscuous, into drugs, yadda, yadda. I taped the episodes for my cousin after checking out a few episodes and since my aunt for some reason trusted my opinion implicitly, she finally let her watch the show but she kept all the tapes I made for her and now that she has grown up, she purchased the DVD set for her kids so they would learn the morals from the same show she loved so much. She never got into any of the things her grandmother (who raised her) was worried about has 3 beautiful kids and became a family counselor. I loved that the story had the look of the punk bands of the 80's but had the basis of doing good, having compassion, the band primarily used the money to care for foster kids...you get the picture. I called it, affectionately, Candy Punk because of the positive messages it promoted and the PSA's like these were the icing on the cake as far as my aunt was concerned when I was convincing her that my cousin could only benefit from the series. It was a great idea to have a show with the girl power angel too. I recall a Barbie that once said, "Math is hard!" and I thought, great move...lets just make all girls feel like having the double X chromosomes means they must be stupid. My guess was that someone with a Y chromosome had the idea to make a doll so popular with little girls say something so destructive to their self confidence! Then again, that was decades ago. Thankfully that's not an idea that's pushed AS hard on girls these days.
When the one kid said "now we know the right thing to do" I want Flint to pop up and say "and knowing is half the battle, sorry Jem its just a better catchphrase."

This show is smart and glam I remember watching as a kid but it was probably so long I thought I wouldn't see it again. Glad it's on Netflix.

Otaking Mikohani They were included as extras on the 2004 DVD since that was made from the 35mm film. The 2011 DVD has them in the exact placement since they used the broadcast tapes of the episodes. Commercials for new episodes, coming next, next week... are normally never included with episodes for TV shows. I agree with you they are very fun for Jem.
They are on Netflix. I have seen them after several episodes.

Aside from the first one, all the others had one Starlight girl, as well as Jem is very important to the kids community and is a well known star with an excellent reputation, so even in the first one, they knew her, so not really.
That's wasn't about talking to strangers. That was about child abductions. Jem wasn't lying to kidnap them.

3:32 I remember seeing the same thing from a transformers PSA. In that version, the car they hit turns into Red Alert, who then does the rest of the short.
I also saw that version with Dusty from GI Joe
I like how she just ditched those girls instead of giving them a ride after a creepy kidnapper is in the area

So many of our shows had lessons. Now the shows my son watches the kids are lying, stealing, beating the shit out of people, bullying, and there is no lesson. The episode ends and they get away with it all. It's troubling and now I started him watching older shows with me to bond and we talk about things.

Why were there boys in the first one? Did boys really watch this series?
Some actually did....there was a crossover appeal to Jem & The Holograms when the show was on originally. Hell, I saw some brief clips of that show when it was on the Atlantic Satellite Network in Atlantic Canada(Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada to be specific) when they aired it there(though I felt like wanting to yank Pizzazz and Roxy out of my TV and kick the shit out of them for being cunts, but that's another story XD).
By the way, the above channel was abbreviated ASN, but is now called CTV Two Atlantic. It's owned by a company called Bell Media, a part of Bell Canada Enterprises. CTV Two Atlantic is based at 2885 Robie St., in Halifax, Nova Scotia, while CTV's national operations are based in Toronto, Ontario, at 9 Channel Nine Court in that city's Scarborough region.

That wasn't a thing until the 90s. I actually wanted one (cause I thought elbow and knee pads were kinda badass...I was a geek) but my folks wouldn't spring for it.

See back then cartoons like THIS ONE used to be educational and set good examples with their PSA messages like those, but now it's just not quite like that anymore in most cartoons of today and really that's not good at all
