I ordered one of these at the beginning of this year. Needed a new blade and after talking to costumer service, they sent me new blades, no charge! I just wanted to say great review, and they actually do have great costumer service! Just thought I would share!
Metric is so easy to use. Always in whole numbers, not fooling around with fractions and having to find a common denominator. Also, much easier for working with triangles.
Great review!
Thanks! My girls like watching "da bear" with me
Rollers are great. My old Delta 12 inch has them
Hehehe freedom units, never heard that one before lol
It's only sugarcoating imperialist unit.
Nice Review , the main thing on this Unit IMO is if there is a Hellical /Spiral Cutter available I like the ones with the Carbide Cutters you can turn to a different Cutter that’s a big Upgrade on the Lunch Box Style Thickness Planers IMO the 3 blades can and do work But the other head does a better job overall BTW I’m a retired ProfessionalWoodworker myself with over 35 years Working in commercial ArchitectualWoodworking Other Reveiws once or products ConsistentlyClaim they do not have good Customer Support in The U.S.A. As most of their products are rebranded Made InChina Items and the U.S. based Companies for Vevor are just Distribution Centers marketing the products Online ? IMO with Tools in general You get what you pay for I’m not a ToolSnob by any means But the more Reputable Brands generally do have great Support and replacement Parts Outlets I have some 1950s Equipment that was my Dads and I can easily. Obtain almost every part ! That btw is a Dewalt Brand Radial Arm Saw built by AMF or AmericanMachine Foundry it was kind of a Staple in most Shops and Lumber Yards which makes many people that are very familiar with them and where or how to get anything and everything to rebuild every Component mine btw is in fabulous Working Order just like it was when removed from my Dads Shop !
I just bought this for $250. shipped! just really wanted it for flatting cherry flooring 3/4"
I bought this machine, and i dont know always have a spine on the wood. I put a a wood and it has spine at the start and the end on the wood. Any idea how to remowe the spine? Thnx
No surprises if you buy a tool like this because you know what you are getting.
Agreed. Like the WEN models, they are a decent budget friendly alternative to the higher cost manufacturers, as long as you don't expect it to be as robust or have their life span. You generally get what you pay for.
Idk if you get anything if I use your link, but I'm going to use it next week to get one and try it out
I have Vevor 13" single speed planer. It was doing fine and then quit pulling the board thru to plane. I have confirmed the roller still turns when the power is on. Vevor has not resolved this issue with an answer after 10 days. Any advise would be appreciated
I broke my planer / joiner because I was running hard wood through it they said.... probably because i was running cutting boatds through against the grain....
I asked Vevor about hard wood some time ago, they said thats why the 2 speed, its for hardwood... But IDK
I bought the newest 2000w 3 blade planer and after four uses and maybe half an hour altogether the blade shaft dropped due to the axel breakage near ball bearing. Now they want me to fix it and sending a shaft assembly to which I said no. Probably one of the bearings is loose and the shaft cover broken, it is possible that the transmission is also somehow damaged. I don't even have tools to fix it. The planer needs to be replaced but I don't think they will never do it. Stay away from this junk if you're even a tiny bit serious of your tools.
If it is as good as a harbor freight tool I'll go harbor freight cause their customer service is great and you pay the insurance for 2 years you get a brand new one if anything happens to it
Rollers on top is nothing new. My old Jet planer had rollers and that was 20 years ago.
That's cool, it's the first time I'd seen it on a planer
After watching, your video it is easy to see Thatcher everything you say à bien about Thatcher planer is Your personal opinions, not realy à neutral opinion, you talk à lot about your usual planer.
Il watch 6 other videos compairing the vevor 2 speed with Dewalt 735 and 4 out of 6 say vevor meets and more than Dewalt.
"Freedom units"? WTF are they?
Redneck babble.
Foot, pound, inch
WTF is a "freedom unit"?
