@dalati Thanks, You actually replied... Btw I'm in Highschool rn and even though the school system is kind of different here, I'll try to remember your advice but focus on studies as well! Thanks a lot and keep making wonderful videos for us as you always do! ❤️
Yo thanks man, I really needed this video because I’m a freshman in high school and iv always been a shy person. The way that you put shyness to another prospective makes me wonder what will happen if I just try to talk and do things. You know what? I am gonna practice all of freshman year and do my absolute best. Thanks for helping me with telling me your wisdom!!!
I wish I had that when I was in 10th grade (in my country high school last 3 years instead of 4), my years in high school were really bad and I woulda lobed having these videos back then. I'm now in my senior year and I'm gonna apply all of these, thank you for everything! 🙏
Great video as always! When I was in high school, I remember telling a few of my friends to enjoy it while it lasts because the real world is not easy whatsoever. Even though my high school experience could have been better, I still had fun overall and am satisfied with how it ended.
Exactly how I feel, I’m very satisfied with the way it went. However now that I’m out of high school, looking back on it I realized there’s certain things I could’ve done differently to enjoy it more. Which is why I made this video, to hopefully help out some students currently in high school.
I can confirm the last one, in 6th grade I was known as the loyal, chill, and fun friend to be with, dropped out and 2 years later in freshmen year I was just left in the dust, nearly all my friends forgotten me, so I got "real, lifetime" friends that still stick to me today
i agree with you so much bro!! i'm a content creator as of right now. And I really am enjoying it, I don't really have a lot of friends purposely. more like acquaintances really. This was really helpful!!!
Thank you so much for all of the amazing tips youve given me. You helped me get over a lost friendship, and i was able to forget about it by watching your videos. Keep up the amazing work.❤
Thanks bro its a well-made video. Listing out all these direct and true points. I feel like some of the students in my high school get lost and not getting the balance so well. I like the point of being genuine and not being shy to pursue valuable moments. Not too worried about being cringe and live a regretless high school life. I am currently studying in HK high school where students here get higher stress levels than other countries, but I'm lucky enough to choose a class of which I believe fits me the most. I am quite optimistic and humorous. Some friend in my class will tease me about the wrong ans I gave in simple questions. I know they're not being rude but it still kinda hurts me. Things get better over time when you improve urself too!
I think it's funny that I'm working at the same high school I graduated from 2 years ago, where I'm still young enough to be a student. This will definitely come in handy
Dalati is best guy on this platform. This video helped me a LOT. for example, i was really shy going to gym for first time and this advice helped so much ❤❤
I used to go to this school that had 1st grade - 12th grade. I went there for a very long time and was pretty much great friends with everyone. Then come 10th grade year I had to change schools pretty far away and this is one of the hardest times that I’ve gone through.
I really need some advice regarding how to get hired or a job in general i really appreciate the time you take to make others have a better understanding of how to make the best of high school ❤
I have severe stuttering that has only gotten worse and it has completely ruined my life, no one wants to talk to me, I cant make jokes, I cant do speeches, I cant even communicate. I am trying to make the most out of high school, but at the moment I feel like I am in the deepest corridors of hell.
I can say from experience, dont switch up just to fit in. Its all just words in your heads now but if you are one of these people who i used to be, you can vouch its not good for you, your reputation and dignity.
you can just go to comunity college for and graduate in half the time (yes, 9th graders are allowed to go to community college) if just want to get it over with asap and move on to college as soon as you can. you'll most likely miss out on a lot of social experience, but graduating in half the time as a normal kid tends to be an impressive thing. just depends on what you want to do
High school can be a real rollercoaster, but there are some tips that can make the ride smoother. Let me share seven common slip-ups to steer clear of: First up, procrastination. We all do it, but leaving things until the last minute can stress you out and mess with your work. Managing your time and staying organized can save you from this headache. Next, mental health matters. High school's a lot, and ignoring how you're feeling can lead to burnout. Taking care of yourself and getting support when you need it is super important. Then, don't overload yourself with activities. They're awesome, but too much can backfire. It's all about balance. Pick a couple of things you really love instead of trying to do everything. Also, don't forget your peeps. It's not just about school stuff or hobbies. Your friendships and family connections are mega important too. Keeping those relationships healthy is a big deal. And, please, ask for help when you need it. Whether it's school stuff or personal stuff, reaching out can make a huge difference. Teachers, counselors, and friends are there for you. Future plans! You don't need to have your whole life figured out, but having a general idea of what's next after high school can be really useful. It could be college, trade school, or something else. Keeping an eye on the future helps you make smarter choices. Lastly, it's not all about grades. They matter, but they're not everything. If you focus only on grades, you might miss out on other important skills and experiences. Avoiding these pitfalls in high school can make the whole experience way better and more balanced.
I am not a shy person, I just don't think anyone really cares if I said anything tbh😂. I do try speaking up if I am talked to and raise my hand and also talk to people when there's nothing important going on. Like I would say "how's your day" and "what kind of songs you like" or anything that comes to mind I just don't wanna bother others you know. I don't mind if others strike a conversation with me actually I'd love it if it happened more often because I love talking to people and since I have ADHD I tend to talk a lot lol

The shy part helps
do middle school
1. Impatiently waiting to graduate
2. Not being yourself to fit in
3. You want to figure out everything
4. Picking popular friends instead of real ones (for me it’s weird, the “real” friends were terrible and the popular friends were the true ones)
5. Underestimating the power of a growth mindset
6. Being Shy
7. Not having balance

that just means the real friends were the popular ones.

if your first set of friends were terrible then they werent weird, and if your second happened to be popular then theyre still real
