Top extra bars are to restrict negative bending moment. As there are no negative bending moment in slab we don't provide extra bar in slab. In case of slabs, there is punching moments at support we provide extra bars there.
hi, how to provide bent-up/ crank bar in two way continuous slab , i mean if the slab size is 40'x60' , there are many beams for support, my question is crank bar can be provided at only in end beams are cranked in every beam, if it is in every beam, rods length is in one length with overlapping or it may be cut sizes according to slab sizes

At point where there is junction of primary and secondary beam but there is no column ( only junction of P beam & S beam) and ...do we have to provide extra top over there or else only continous steel is provided??
what is to be done when the length of development length is still left even after providing 'L'..? should we insert the remaining part into the column or bent it towards beam..?
I have learned on site that for those cases, we decrease the total length of column below it. Like for a 10’ column, we only cast 9’ column to accommodate the corresponding development length of beam that will be inserted in it.

Slab reinforcement, main and secondary bars are provided as mesh, why not provided crank bars or shear bars.
Why have you not hooked stirrups in 135 degree? None stirrups are visible to be bent at 135 degree with 10* dia hook or 75mm( which ever is greater)

Good question, but as there is no column no shear force comes. So not required extra bars where P and S beams junction.
