Hey guys took me a hour hours with this. I’m on iPhone 15. I didn’t see DOCK or lightening hardware and I was messing around with it and the only reason how I got it to connect was the way I pressed the on button on mic. Don’t press and hold just click it on and that worked for me🤦🏻 sound pretty good hope this method helps someone

I have a iphone 15 to get it to work, I had to completely power off my iphone, plug in the receiver, then cut the phone on, go to camera, select video, then turn on the mic. It works now! It shows up as LX under about.

Thank you this was so helpful. Here is my experience I was having a hard time trying pairing based off the instructions which I thought would be like a Bluetooth pairing. The instructions from this video brought me to the About and when I removed the receiver I looked at the apps showing. Then replaced the receiver and it showed up in About as LX. What I believe is that it may show up as various names. I then went to my podcast hosting site to do a mic test and the microphone showed up. It sounds good so far. Tomorrow I will publish a podcast and I will come back with an update. Thank you so much for this UA-cam this helped me tremendously!

How do you charge the receiver

You don't need to charge the receiver. It gets it power from the iPhone. The little plug-in on the receiver is so you can plug a lightning cable in to charge your phone while recording.
