I just love the fact that this lore is actually accurate to what is known to be Greek mythology of the gods and events that supposedly occurred. The stories really put to rest the God of War video-game narrative about Kratos, as he was not a God of War, not even close.
The last one wouldn't play for me, and honestly, I'm so mad because that's the best one. The actor for Druth made me feel his terror and sorrow. The only time he's ever shown fear is in that last rune and that's why it's so terrifying to me
god of war twists all stories to fit a new story, while this game merely tells them as their own, im studying norse mythology now and i see no errors here.
Kane Render true, just read all the myth the other day and i wondered what happened to other gods, but they did say only about 7 gods survived (including baldr and hod from nilfheim) so i think they all fought and died.
Aye, that was a hindsight on my part but I will have to remember next time I do a similar one. And yes, they explained the basics of the realms in one of the first ones but not much about how they're all intertwined. My theory is the stories are more connected to Senua herself.
i study norse mythos. Yggdrasil is the world tree, its roots go to the deepest of the deep, its branches reach to the highests of peaks, it is fed by 3 wells, from niffleheim a dragon eats at its roots, from jotunheim a fountain feeds it, and from asgard, the well of urd, and 3 sisters guard it (norns) at its branches snakes go by, and 4 deers walk arround. at its top a raven sits, at the middle in branches a squirrle, the squirrle carries gossip of the dragon at the roots and the raven at the tops, but lies to each to make them angry at each other, he enjoys the mischief. Sorry for terrible spell
Yes. He's the doubting voice in her head. He killed her mother thinking she was cursed. He later lead the northmen to his own village sacrificing all of his people to break a perceived curse. Senua ran to the forest to cure her own curse, by doing that she met Druth/Finden, and lived to go on her journey to learn her own truth
When i play, i valravn path, the runestone at the end with rune that looks like s, for me its actually f..so i cant complete all runestone. What to do with this problem?
Tnx. I actually found it, it was after the boss when i was going back from valravn and the s rune was on the same runestone as first m. If you can understand what i mean :). Actually i found both, the second was on the right spot..
"And it became... *A COW!* That's right; a cow. Bet you weren't expecting that."
I love this guy's delivery.
He's the best!
Proper Northern Irish.
You know it’s gonna be good when you hear “The Northmen say..”
If I had this guy speaking in my head constantly, I would not mind at all. His voice is fucking epic.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR i didn't want to know where they were I just wanted to listen to him talk
RIGHT
CORRECT
Druth kinda reminds me of Virgil from Dantes inferno. Both are guides to the protagonist while they both descend into the underworld.
Thank you for uploading this! It's nice to have a video that has all the lorestone recordings in one place.
No problem at all ☺️
You know this video proves that people will hit dislike on anything, this video literally is just the rune stones, like cmon people

The last one auto plays once you have found all the runes. It's a bonus ending scene
Funny how it is actually her father who led the northmen to their village. That's the extra you unlock if you "activate" most of the lorestones.
All and ya get a trophy for it
Cmoooon, a little spoiler warning?
Tbh,for Norse mythology,I would choose this rather than God of war

Untill kratos kills them all like the Greek gods
God of war butchers nordic mythology.
@@TheReaper569 there's a couple differences from the Eddas and oral stories but that's the nature of the beast, I guess.
Seek Hela's truth in mirror. Gods betray us. Unmask fear.
Is that what the runes actually say on the Lorestones? BADASS.
@@mitchellneu idk if that's what it says, but you can hear those sentences from the voices at 32:37
@@mitchellneu the furies say that out loud when senua reaches that part
I love hearing all of these in a row
1-Should have recorded them with subtitles, but thanks anyway, good video.
2-I was kinda bummed that they didnt explain the concept of the World Tree.
Aye, that was a hindsight on my part but I will have to remember next time I do a similar one.

Instead of listening to music i listen to druth stories yay
I never saw a reason to have an obituary. Now I do.
holy god this is better than the game. (the game is great!) Thank you so much!
Thanks bro, for the ones who like to learn, that video is a full plate
The closed captions are hilarious.
32:27 "prepare yourself for eggnog"
So, the man in black who backstabbed his kin, was Senua's father?

I'm not sure on this run. But if you play through again you keep the runes you've already flu d, so maybe a second play through may fix it.
Tnx. I actually found it, it was after the boss when i was going back from valravn and the s rune was on the same runestone as first m. If you can understand what i mean :). Actually i found both, the second was on the right spot..
@@OrangeEagle but there's none missed in this video right?
@@DarkSpire7734 that is correct. None missed.
tysm bro
so fucking epic
Where is the C one on top? 😭
are those lore stories based on true stories ?? (i know some of them are true but i don't know all of them)
Yes.
Are all of these missable?
Some of them are easily spotted. Others are missable.
@@OrangeEagle like I have to do a second run right
It's so fucking stupid you can't go back and get the missing stones.
