- The Maono PD400x Microphone is a great condenser microphone and more affordable option than the Shure MV7 and SM7B. The build quality, software and sound are all top notch. USB-C and XLR option. Check out the sound tests in this video.

Great review. I’ve just purchased the PD400X as my first USB mic. Was tossing up between this and the MV7 and seemed a no brainier to go with the Moano. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
Great review thanks.
Hope you’re enjoying it! I have pd200 review coming.
Thorough review! Mic sounds good and having XLR option gives some room to grow. Wanted to up my audio so I just ordered one.
Thanks. I really like it. Hope you do too. 👍🏻
Great video
Thanks!
Great review man. Nice job (with the song as well)! Definitely looking into this mic. For a low cost usb mic, it sounds pretty darn good (especially with the software options). Hey, what's up with that orange USB cable? Do they include that? Where do you get it? Thanks.
Hey - thanks for the props. I’m not sure about the orange usb cable. There is an orange suspension cord on the Tonor microphone in front of me but that’s not a usb cable. Let me know if I got that wrong.
great channel, and ideas, just one thing: when review mic's dont use BG music, is so distraction, makes no sense... also the bg music is super loud in other videos, but great channel.
Thanks. Duly noted - I thought we'd really lowered the background audio but clearly not enough. The comment on testing microphones and audio - solid. I didn't even remember it was in the background over the testing.
