Well I am also Naa Adjeley and it means first born female, the Naa means princess and comes before every Ga females name. Naa Adjeley can come from more than one place. I am from Tema for example and because more than one house name Adjeley i have had to add Gborjor to my name so that people can identify me with that specific house (Gborjor meaning something like flexible).

I read Psalm 22. After I calmed down a little (was thinking about how I have disappointed YHWH ), I was glancing at the word Psalm 22. Underneath the words was.....To the chief musician Aijeleth Shahar, A psalm of David... Aijeleth sounds too much like Adjeley...Psalm 22 is a psalm of anguish and it is descriptive of Jesus suffering when he was crucified........Please find out the meaning and significance of the name Adjeley. ... Please do not dismiss my request because of the difference in spelling. Hebrew is an ancient African language . There are hebrew words that are similar in both pronunciation and meaning that have been found in multiple African languages.Ancient Hebrew was written with no vowels. So if one does not speak the language, it will be difficult to translate names correctly. The Europeans translated the bible into various languages. So it is expected that There would be errors in translation of names..

@@julietdjobi6088 It's hard to differentiate the names in Jamaica because many Jamaicans are descended from different Ghanaian ethnic groups but we tend to group them all as TWI. I have learned now that the name Djaba is Krobo but it is in Jamaica as well. We spell it as Tacky but thanks for showing us how it is spelled in Ghana as in Jamaica we thought Tackiy was either Fanti or Ashanti. Appreciate the knowledge.

I am just now learning more about the importance GA people played in the formation of Jamaican society. I am just learning that the name Djaba is Krobo which we have in Jamaica as well. In Jamaica we do spell it as Tacky thanks for letting us know it's actually Tackiy. Are Krobos ga-adangme peoples as well?
