I was curious if you can talk a little about the maintenance for the bike. The maintenance intervals and if possibly the cost changes because it's an Italian motorcycle vs that of Japanese bikes.
Heya, it's every 10000kms or ~6000 miles. I had my break-in service done in europe a few weeks ago and it costs around 250$.
As for the maintenance around every 6000 miles it should be around double that. If I'm not mistaken every 12000 miles you have to get your valves checked which is expensive as hell.
The main difference between this bike and japanese bikes should be the interval of the services, I believe japanese bikes don't need to be serviced every 6000 miles.
This is my favourite bike in its class. I had a chance to sit on it and it felt great. This bike just look so good. The bike i'm currently looking for is an R6 because I need to experience the inline 4 before going to something else. I would have the rs660 as my street bike and the R6 for track days
The seat is so much more comfortable than any other bike. Compared to the r6 which is so HARD the 660 is so comfortable

I’m looking into getting my first bike friend of mines recommended a rs 660 cause I can grow into it when I was young use to ride a moped with friend and a little chopper for kids will I be okay getting the 660

How's the RS 660 so far, no issues? I can wrench basic maintenance, just a lil torn between it and the ZX6R, only leaning more towards the RS660 since I'll do more street riding.
So far it’s been perfect, no complaints at all

Howd you get your turn signals if you removed the mirrors with the signals?
They are integrated into the headlights. It's a standard option here in Europe but in America the tech is there but it's not enabled. A quick ECU change, iirc just changing the map, can enable the feature on US models.

I was really aiming for a 2018 R6 or a 2024 GSXR 600R and then I started seeing this “Aprilla” and not it’s the only bike that I want forever so I’m getting one in a month what did you do for exhaust mods and did you upmap it?
No upmap yet, just a full system exhaust
@@tucrr No tune needed for a full exhaust? Looking at the SC1-r for my RS660 but dont feel like messing with upmap. PS: Great looking bike keep it up
@@jordyeerdekens1142it’s recommended as it’s suggested they run a little lean with aftermarket exhaust but there are many people who throw an exhaust on and send it without issue
