Yeah I’d def get out of any guarantees for the season based off him quitting mid game and trade him for a few picks. Might be some suckers out there that will give up a 2nd rounder. If not then a 3rd and 4th. Only problem is they can save way more if they trade him in the summer vs before the draft so that wouldn’t yield any picks for April which I’d rather they get.
Anthony Weaver did a solid job, but if he gets offers and decides to go be a HC, I really hope we bring in Saleh. I think him being friends with McDaniel, as well as his ability to run a tough defense, would be a really good for the team as a whole, and a good complementary piece.
What did he do? The defense was horrible all season vs any decent qb. He doesn't have a great resume. He came because few would. If vic thought he would look good, he would have stayed. Even good DCs need good players to look good. He knew the talent wasn't going to be in mia. I don't put it all on weaver because of the lack of talent but he didn't show much all season. Stats are meaningless. During the season when a play needed to be made, the defense gave it up way to many times. We rarely forced turnovers. The tackling was piss poor. Coverage was comical. Pass rush was non-existent. You look at stats in the seattle game and it looks like the defense played okay. They didnt. They gave up 17 in the first quarter. They didn't really play any better after that. The Seahawks started playing super conservative on offense because the mia offense was so bad, only Seattle turning the ball over would get mia in the game. They still manage to get the ball out of the shadow of there own end zone several times. When mia did start to show a little spark on offense l, the Seahawks opened it up again, scored a td, and sealed the game. We saw the same pattern over and over this season. Coaches that already have a good name, won't come here. They won't want to attach themselves to a team with a lot of holes talent wise on the defense and a front office and head coach on the hot seat. Plus the FO and coach will be more likely to get offensive talent to make themselves and picking tua look good vs defensive help.. Would you move you family and kids to mia with the knowledge it very likely could be a 1 year thing? Changing schools and all that that involves?
Problem is he can't blame anything on his wrist, because we saw the stats. He ain't creating separation for shit. He just wasn't any good this season. It's time for him to go.
Y’all ain’t watching ball. Man’s got separation plenty of times and didn’t get the ball. Teams mostly played over the top and didn’t allow deep passes. The offense need to change up and give better route combos and concepts in order to beat it.

National Media making this Tua vs Mahommes, but it's an overall roster construction issue. Tyreek stopped playing his best ball when Tua went on IR and never came back. His drops killed drives for us. Dropping TDs since year 1 in Miami. This year his volume didn't make up for it.
Orande Gadsen wasn’t the fastest, but he is the best WR I’ve ever seen on The Fins, well at least hands wise. Tyreek had a bad case of the Dropseese this year, and had had a hard time getting separation.
Partial tear of an ACL doesn’t matter, the ACL does not heal itself like other muscles. So it requires a FULL replacement. I had a 99% year and learned more than I cared to about ACL reconstruction, MCL, and meniscus surgery. The only thing I would be curious is if he had complications (I had cyclop lesions and required additional surgery) and where they got his replacement ACL. There’s hamstring, patella tendon (my choice) or cadaver (run risk of rejection and risk too much slack in the ACL). But remember if it comes from the patient, that’s another injury to recover from.
The best offensive player that we have had since Marino. Has completely carried this team for 3 years. Let him blow off some steam. And pray he comes back.
that's not what that means. he's just trying to get a promotion, and those are the teams offering him a shot at the position. it's not like we have a head coach position open
I get what you are saying. Unfortunately Boyle was forced on McDaniel. I still don't understand the whole Fangio situation. Bringing in coaches that don't want to be here is crazy. I think that is the same situation with Weaver. He thought he deserved HC last year. And gave a crap effort to DC in a transition year. I agree we are definitely struggling finding a capable and reliable DC
Here's my take. Take it for what you will. Tyreek Hill has been the epitome of the problems with our team in the McDaniel era. Amazing stats. Amazing. He had his two best seasons with Tua, putting up huge numbers. Always disappeared in the big game. ALWAYS. In Germany vs the Chiefs, actively hurt the team. This season, disappeared. Is that partially McDaniel's fault? Yes. But what happened when we started to scheme things around a bunch of different guys... success. McDaniel's system, to me, seems like a system that actively needs to strive away from a player like a Tyreek (that being a player who is an absolute ALPHA type receiver). We need to focus on becoming more diverse across the board. Our offense is a bunch of small, fast guys, of which Tyreek is the best. We got Malik Washington, another small, fast guy. We got Waddle. We got Achane, small, fast. Smaller, but fast. Now we got a Jonnu, who's good. He adds an extra element to our offense. We need to start looking at a team like Detroit, a team whose offense is built impeccably. Very similar QB situation (I think Tua is a step above Goff when HEALTHY, but that's a big if these days). Still, very comparable. They have an answer everywhere. They need to get tough yards, they got Montgomery. They need to beat you over the middle and with YAC? They got Amon Ra and Gibbs. You're double covering Amon-Ra? They got Jameson. Every DB is dragging Jameson and ARSB? They got LaPorta. That's what we need. Our offense was too predictable with Tyreek. It became one note. A beautiful note when it was in tune, but it easily got figured out. We need to get rid of Tyreek and become more of an ensemble. Give praise to the players who deserve it. The Seilers, the Campbells, the Chubbs. We have all the pieces to be a competitor. I think it's fairly obvious that Tyreek's tenure with us was a bit of a paper tiger. He embodied finesse. We need to embody winning.
👑 Amaziah; "Tyreek" stay at Miami stay with Miami. Have them let you do commercials to get your face known more and more. So whenever you want to break into Sports News Broadcasting, your presence will be known. Listen lil bro listen...
I've already accepted the fact that we won't make significant improvement on the oline, we will win 5-7 games next year, and will be hiring a new gm and coach the following year. Tyreek throwing a tantrum in a year where he couldn't get any separation or hold onto a ball is just icing on the cake.
Also I think Tyreek leaving Miami could possibly be the best thing to happen to the offense. Force them to get the run game going and teams will start playing defense against them in their natural formations. Bc every good team played Miami outside of their normal tendencies in a “stop tyreek” defense which was not only not on game tape but McD continued to try and run the offense through tyreek despite all signs showing not to.
Doug, Tyreek contract is untouchable by the dolphins. Once a player is injured, they can remove themselves at any time contractually, so the dolphins can’t void his guarantees based n his decision.
IMO the 2025 season is already lost. Just a shame they left Grier in charge to screw up the 2025 draft and whatever other damage he will do. Hope for Ross to sell the team or get a brain transplant before the 2026 season.
I dont think that would earn enough to support his family, I mean you dont want them wondering where their next meal is coming from. Life is tough in the Tyreek hood.
I think the new throwing motion changed how tua can throw the ball. Up til this year I never remember seeing Tua drop back like a righty and have to switch his hip like I have this year. Could new QB coaching be teaching him to throw right handed? Question of the season. Why did he start dropping back like that?
There's a reason the Chiefs moved on from Hill & why Browns collapsed when OBJ joined, or Diggs/Bills drama. The offense isnt functioning correctly if u gotta diva WR. BYE TYREEK!
Doug why does everyone keep saying reek missed 1k for the first time? This is the 3rd he missed that mark. ESPN reporters say whatever and never get fact checked

Player are obligated to media time after every game. Yes they can leave and be fined. Doesn't mean it's not still a rule. As a rule the team is obligated to tell Hill he has to meet with media

How about a video about replacing Tua. As long as we hang on to this glass doll of a quarterback we're not going to win anything. It's his head. It's his hip. It's his weak arm. It's his lack of mobility. You're on the Tua train so I'm not surprised at the lack of hard analysis.
The guy was a train wreck coming out of college did they expect anything would change in the NFL. Time to end the Tua experiment. Weak arm, no mobility, glass jaw, can't handle cold weather, disappears big games nope go lay on the beach in Hawaii.
1. Anthony Weaver is not getting offered a HC job. He did fine as a DC this year, but is not ready to be a HC. 2. Be great if Miami could trade Tyreek but no team is dumb enough to take on his contract at his age. 3.
Or if you're Heinz Ward, just don't bother having ACLs!
Fins up!
The best offensive player that we have had since Marino. Has completely carried this team for 3 years. Let him blow off some steam. And pray he comes back.
Id be surprised if Weaver got a job this time around but the fact he's interviewing elsewhere isn't good cuz it means he doesn't wanna be in Miami
that's not what that means. he's just trying to get a promotion, and those are the teams offering him a shot at the position. it's not like we have a head coach position open
True that
Yeh even a real defensive coach like Vic Fangio didn’t want to be here at this dumpster circus . I don’t blame him .
Oh I was thinking 52-0 against New England in 1972. Will have to look up 55-14 against St. Louis.
Hey Doug , can you please do a segment on what players the Dolphins 🐬 should not bring back or sign? Thanks 😊
10:54 that’s the first part of being professional is how you conduct yourself. And McDaniel is soft and he’s why everyone calls us soft
With Weaver out that’ll make 4 D Coordinators in 4 yrs. So much for “Continuity” huh Ross
everything we do...we do for Tuaaahhhh....
Can't hold back a coach from a promotion that's an nfl rule
I get it and I understand that. But what about the 3 before Weaver?
I get what you are saying. Unfortunately Boyle was forced on McDaniel. I still don't understand the whole Fangio situation. Bringing in coaches that don't want to be here is crazy. I think that is the same situation with Weaver. He thought he deserved HC last year. And gave a crap effort to DC in a transition year. I agree we are definitely struggling finding a capable and reliable DC
@@scotty9776what do you mean He gave a crap effort? He was very good and would be even better if not for all the injuries.
Jerry Randy Owens are just a few examples on how they created separation Hill needs to go watch film on these guys
I want weaver but if he gets the oppurtunity I want Salah
Higgins?!?!? We need an offensive and defensive line and depth at those very positions!
Coincidence that the couchs with "ties to McDaniels" are being fired 🤔🤔
supposedly f a player is playing with an already documented/reported injury, he can pull himself out at anytime without reprocussions.
28:37 I believe it was 1977
👑 Amaziah; "Tyreek" stay at Miami stay with Miami. Have them let you do commercials to get your face known more and more. So whenever you want to break into Sports News Broadcasting, your presence will be known. Listen lil bro listen...
Looking at the wrong year for Chubb's contract. 2025 is 29m on both websites you showed
I also remember Hill saying he was going to retire in 2025 and make video game content and that was 2 or 3 years ago
Yes he did, he doesn't know what he wants to do
I bet Hill would rather play himself on Madden 2025 PlayStation right about now than to do another year at this circus
St Louis Cardinals Dougie, not Arizona, and it was in st Louis
Doug, I hope you live to 100 so that you can celebrate Miami's next Superbowl Championship.
That’s a nice looking hat. Too bad I’m boycotting dolphins gear and tickets until the coach and GM are gone
Trivia Answer. 1977 dolphins 55 st Louis cardinals 14 Thanksgiving bob griese threw 6 TD Jim hart was cardinals QB. game was in st Louis.
Dudes been live on like every platform multiple times since
I've already accepted the fact that we won't make significant improvement on the oline, we will win 5-7 games next year, and will be hiring a new gm and coach the following year. Tyreek throwing a tantrum in a year where he couldn't get any separation or hold onto a ball is just icing on the cake.
@@TheManiac220 cant. No money.
Personally, I think Hill is a good player. But if they can get out from the cap issues and get a 2 or a 3 for him and move on, I'd say do it.
We only have 2 problems offense and defense.
Tua isnt as good as u think buddy
Listening to smith is torture.
Weaver isnt going anywhere- hes getting interviews to fulfill the Rooney rule. He may become a HC in the future, but not this year
Also I think Tyreek leaving Miami could possibly be the best thing to happen to the offense.
Miami has 32 unrestricted free agents boys hope we can get something done
IMO the 2025 season is already lost. Just a shame they left Grier in charge to screw up the 2025 draft and whatever other damage he will do. Hope for Ross to sell the team or get a brain transplant before the 2026 season.
Hey Tyreek - go start you a reality show with you racing Olympic track stars, maybe you can support your family that way.
I dont think that would earn enough to support his family, I mean you dont want them wondering where their next meal is coming from. Life is tough in the Tyreek hood.
Hill always wants to troll & he just got "paid" so we'll have to wait & see. It's unlikely he'll be trade traded because of his contract
Cubb and Philips will never be the same. Trade them is possible. 😮
You were comparing the wrong years between Spotrac and Overthecap...
For 2025 it is 29.3m on both sites.
55, @ st Louis thanksgiving day 1977
I think the new throwing motion changed how tua can throw the ball.
Not only Hill ,ramsey too
Dougie, Omar reported that tyreek wasn’t going to talk to the media after the game, but PR pushed him to speak. They reaped what they sowed.
Players have to be available to the media after the game. That's a rule
@@scotty9776 1) it’s not a rule mandated than anybody other than the team itself.
2) The only time a rule like that comes into play at the league level is playoffs and superbowl.
They don’t need to speak and can always take a fine.
Just like marshawn said “I’m only here so I don’t get fined”
Player are obligated to media time after every game. Yes they can leave and be fined. Doesn't mean it's not still a rule. As a rule the team is obligated to tell Hill he has to meet with media
@@scotty9776 so after you already said no should a team force you to speak?
I understand what you are saying. Ultimately it's the player that will decide if he follows the rule or doesn't. I don't think the team can force someone to do anything. But all I'm saying is the team is obligated to tell the player he has to follow the rules. That's all. Personally this all falls on Hills immaturity
Everybody giving tyreek backlash I just don’t like that they’re trying to act like everybody didn’t think Miami were contenders the first 2 years when they were the #1 seed at one point.😂
Hey Doug first here, I don’t want to see hill go tbh
That makes you question the culture and wonder if rhe players more in charge then coach. I think those that played the season checked out those that were out still back him. Player lead lockerroom we done that experiment before and it imploded
The guy is made out of paper mache, get rid of him now before he is worth absolutely nothing
I thought he was dropping passes in the end zone on purpose.
1. Anthony Weaver is not getting offered a HC job. He did fine as a DC this year, but is not ready to be a HC.
2. Be great if Miami could trade Tyreek but no team is dumb enough to take on his contract at his age.
3. If Miami does not draft sign TWO solid Guards this offseason they are looking at another disappointing 2025. U can’t win vs good teams w/o a good O-Line.
4. Bradley Chubb and Armstead among others will not be on the roster in 2025.
ARE YOU GONNA REACT TO GRIER AND MCDANIELS PRESS CONFERENCE
Anthony Weaver did a good job considering- if he gets a chance at HC wish him luck- From the outside it looks like Grier & McDaniel have lost the locker room- fully expect more of the same
Reek dropped soooooooooo many passes this year. he shouldn't be so upset, he should just catch more balls
If we can get Saleh as DC that would be great. I just don't think Saleh will take a DC job. He's probably looking for a HC job
Its a business. They got the bag. I DOUBT they give a shit like alot of fans think they do. I repeat, they dont care.
55 against St. Louis Cardinals
So your thumbnail says "The backlash from Tyreek Hills comments" and you don't say what the comments were?
reek seems to me to be complaining about the benching of tua, not just the end of the year but the nfl benching tua for a month and reek seems to be emotional about his bad year and not being a contender. I been saying trade tyreek for 2 years and i still feel that way but tyreeks tantrium to me tells me he was invested in this team and he dont like the "adversity" thats beyond his control.I dont think he or anyone can directly complain about the nfl STEPPING IN but they can use the end of the year benching of tua as a sign to the nfl like thanks guys u F'ed us.
Me personally if I’m late for work i could get fired but i guess that’s for a regular job
Also like to add 🖕 tyreek i hope he gets gone fr hes washed af soon as he got that bag he didn’t care about catching balls or anything he just sucks he’s old
Dolphins vs raven Tuas 6 td game?
injured all the time from exposing himself trying to scramble for the extra yard. His body can't take the demands of the NFL. Now a mystery hip injury? I hope he retires. I want Miami to get a real qb, not a flashy and weak player. He tough, but not right for the league these days.
Same ravens defense that allowed the week before and after huge comebacks
NFL: Are you SURE you want to sign Reek? I mean, he's got a pretty bad teammate history, and is a prima-donna. He wants $90 mil."
Dolphin fans: "Want him??? We not only WANT him, we'll make him _a team Captain!"_
(2024) Dolphins fans: "HELP! This leopard ate our face! Can we trade him now?"
Actually, in 95 dolphins scored 60 like 2 or 3 against the jets.
So that confuses me. Lol
Nope
Fans have a decisions to make continue with this franchise and have them thumb their nose at you and continue to lie to you. The writing is on the wall for anyone awake enough to understand. They are basically saying the don't care about the fans. How much more do you need to see? Time to save yourself!
That’s a really bold and wrong statement c
That's a fact
If we keep McDaniel and Grier what is going to change??????
The theoretical curtains
We will never be any better. Intel we clean house just wasting time
Been dolphins fan for 50 years, last 20 years they have not gotten sheet right....Grier put a product on the field that was pure shit and he still has a job...one thing is for sure this team will disappoint next season for sure BET US put down a bunch of money against the fins next season!!!!
