I’m one of the rare ones that actually like the evo tens better than previous gens. I just think the styling looks cooler. But I still like the older ones
Also a good add if you live in a hot ass area aka anywhere south lol check this out....delete fog light = better airflow = cooler oil. I plan on doing this....whenever I get my evo lol
Alright so, in Australia, Im running a 420HP Ralliart. I ran it for years without an oil cooler. here, summer driving ambient temperatures are 35-40 degrees. (95-104 Faren). I never had oil temperature issues. I did end up installing a Setrab 25 Row cooler, and it did help reduce the oil temps from what they were, not that it was ever an issue. The stock Oem oil cooler that the Evo has is plenty good enough. What hes showing here, although a fucking beast aesthetically, is overkill haha. As for your idea to remove the fog light for air flow would certain help with just that, - air flow, its really not necessary, and the stock airduct is fine for channeling air. If anything to that extreme, youd be better off running a duct line from fogs into the front brakes to help cool them. If you're running an extreme cooler like this, you're tracking the car (overkill for street use), which means youll need cooler brakes way before youll need to cool the engine (I know, ive done track days without a cooler).
My oil cooler lines are leaking due to the previous owners stupid decision for extended intervals. Since they're obscenely priced, I'm gonna go aftermarket. I'm really on the fence with this kit but seeing it here I'm probably gonna go with it
Experience with it? Horsepower, numbers on cooling? I run around 380hp, and was thinking of installing it too. But not sure if it would cool to much, as in not even getting it or letting it get warm enough..

Wow, it needs a lot of rust work done I mean... Look at the oil pan, thought my X was bad (in the past :-D) greetings from Germany
only 5 min
That oil cooling kit is sick
We still run the stock oil cooler with a cooling fan added to it and does wonders for keep temps low
Me and my baby who is 9 months old, both look forward to your videos 🤩🤩
Greatly improve the performance and life of the engine.
