Appreciate the VHS rip! Didn't even know this existed. After looking around, I found that this is available in the online PBS archive. It looks great too!
PBS.org also had it but in thumbnail size. I tried once to order the episode but it was no longer available. From my understanding the "movie" poster ad was used in Entertainment Weekly at the time, but if you can get a good hi-res scan of that poster, it would be awesome to share with the community as well. My old Nike t-shirt of that is way too worn out to be of any good use in that respect.
They did a really good job matching Godzilla to his 1992 Heisei design. I have this on VHS but I watched it so much the tape is worn out.
Exactly why I ripped my VHS as soon as I could. Just wished I haven't recorded it at such low quality. But at least it's preserved.

Japanese representatives from Toho Co., Ltd. helped out. The late Yoshimitsu Banno & Tomoyuki Tanaka, served as co-creative consultants.
They should have just used this for the 1997 movie. Would have saved them a lot of money
Imagine if we had gotten a 90s ILM Godzilla costume for a US film??

How I miss the 90s
I have this somewhere on VHS, but I doubt its as good of quality as yours. Just found my old GvsB posters and thought about it.
Didn't know Robin Williams was a monster dentist.
