I've been on the lookout for this particular model for over a year from Time factors with no luck, now, I've heard about issues with this model especially the hands colliding, on the other hand, recently, gnomon watches has issued a Steinheart version of the 1016 very faithfull to the original, however, guess what, they are likewise sold out. If they become available again no doubt Ill purchase one as I can attest of the quality of Steinheart as I own an Ocean one Gmt which is a beast and the reasonable pricepoint of around $500

I like the Timefactors watch and will check out the Steinhert if I will get my hands on one. The problem with the hands are most likely due to the way the hands were set on that one watch. There are no issues with the Miyota 9039 which is both of my Smiths and Baltic watches. And both are very good daily drivers.

@@Watchatete Yep I agree Miyota is a tried and tested workhorse of a movement since I own couple of Citizens: a Promaster and I bullhead from the 70s both very reliable

Never heard of hands colliding in the Everest, must be one of a kind. Steinhart looks nice, but is much bigger and the lugs do not bend down with the wrist like the Smiths Everest en the Rolex Explorer. Therefore hard to compare. Look also at the Borealis Adraga, also much bigger, but the lugs bend down with the wrist.
