I've been playing for about six months - as a busy adult. Sometimes I go for two days without practicing, I barely have time to practice more than an hour a day on most days, I am certainly not a musical prodigy of any measure, and I can only afford lessons every other week. I am currently in two lesson books - Alfred 1 and another book where I'm still in "middle C". Yet, I'm playing this song because of my very talented teacher and because of this wonderful video. This song has helped me accelerate rhythm exploration and keyboard geography far beyond what I thought I'd be able to do at this stage of the game.
Thank you for this video. This particular "Musette in G" is one of my favriote piano pieces of all time. God bless you.

Some very good tips here. I have to confess though that this piece strikes me as if it was written to torment the parents of four year olds. I pray I don't wind up in Hell, because this tune probably plays all day and night for eternity. All the same, an excellent video for the technique insights (and what happened to your hair? It never looked like a wind swept chinchilla in your earlier ones, but it does kind of look like Beethoven's after getting out of bed).
