    Munger and Buffett have both achieved an incredible feat with Berkshire. They've turned thousands to billions, and have made a lot of people wealthy in the process. I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.

      I wish I could say that stock market is perfectly safe and u can never lose all ur money, but thr thing is that , just don't be greedu and u would do all fine, invest in mutual funds with less expense ratio or buy ETFs and u would do better than most

    I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

      Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience.If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.

      The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

    Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

      I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks.

      @@johnawara9719 Quitting may not be the best approach if you ask me. This is where an AI comes into the picture. I barely have time to trade myself as my job swallows up most of my time. MARGARET MOLLI ALVEY, a licensed fiduciary whom has made me over 5 figures in profit in less than seven months, handles my investments. I could leave you a lead if you need help.

    Is an etf the same as just index fund, or are they two completely separate things???

    • @ItsDarthTrader
      @ItsDarthTrader 6 місяців тому +2

      Separate. ETFs trade like stocks on exchanges with fluctuating prices throughout the day, while index funds are mutual funds that are bought and sold at the end-of-day net asset value (NAV).

    • @henrys428
      @henrys428 6 місяців тому

      @@ItsDarthTrader So, on Vanguard, I see only the option to invest in an S&P 500 ETF.
      So, which is better?
      Index fund or ETF
      Or, which has the less risk?
      Sounds to me like Index is better than ETF in that you know what the shares are when you sell them, since they are sold at the end of the day
      Whereas, ETFs, you could sell your shares, but while selling, the value could decline?
      Am I right in that?

      S&P 500 UCITS ETF - Accumulating (VUAG) That is the S&P 500 option I see

      They trade different Mutual Funds trade a NAV at the end of the day and directly through fund companies while ETFs trade like stocks and have more liquidity and significantly lower fees and red tape.
