I did shrink the bottom! That wasn't included in the video. I started by anchoring the film in the middle favoring the bottom enough so the edge of the film is about an inch away from the bottom seal. This allows for a tighter shrink then if you were to try and shrink with the film overlapping the bottom seal. Then the video started with me repositioning with just enough overlap on the bottom for me to make my bottom cut.
My Tundra just got tinted and the back roll down glass has a bigger then normal gap at the top. Installer said it can’t be all the way to the top for some reason.
Sorry for the late response. If they used a plotter cut pattern, this is probably why. I'll admit, when we use plotter cut patterns there is a slightly bigger than desirable gap at the top of 4 Runner and Tundra back-glasses. This can vary based on the software being used. Typically if its a hand-cut pattern it will be a tighter gap at the top.
Tinted my first one today and absolutely knocked it out the park! Great method, you saved my day!
Awesome, I wish I had seen your technique before tinting my other windows, Hoorah!
Hooah! Never stop learning new techniques! We have a plotter now haha!
No need to shrink the bottom? I am having trouble with the shrinking on this window

Could you do a video heat shrink the bottom part please
