APEDH - Community Consultation (May 2024, Nord Kivu, DRC)

Action pour la Paix, l'Education et la Défense des Droits Humains (APEDH), an Indigenous-led organization working in the DRC, has launched a project to involve the local Kumu community in promoting sexual and reproductive health and combating gender-based violence (GBV) in Nyiragongo territory, North Kivu province. Azimuth World Foundation has proudly supported this initiative through our 2023 grant cycle.
This video shows APEDH's team engaged in the community consultation process, in May 2024, to guarantee that the local authorities in the Buvira settlement support the project's initiatives.
