Peter I love this, I now realize just how much I miss the bird song in the background, something very unique to Australian bush land. Love the Victorian country side you capture so well in your photos.
Many thanks, Craig. I love the Aussie birdsong, too.
👍👍👍
Beautiful light, amazing to see the curves in all those hills. Great video 👏
Thank you, Laurel.
Beautiful Peter! Nice way to start my day. Well done ❤
Thanks, Tammy. I actually filmed this in March. That’s how bloody busy I’ve been!! I keep seeing yours and Scott’s faces popping up, and I think, “I MUST make time to go visit!” Ugh! I hope everything’s okay after that storm. 💕
What an enjoyable watch Peter... all I had to do was sit back and let it all wash over me. Lovely! Have a great week buddy 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks, old boy. That’s a really nice way to put it.
A picture says a thousand words! Very relaxing indeed! Several fantastic images, my friend! Glad to see you're up for a sunrise 😂
Thanks, mate. I manage sometimes!! 😄
Great video Peter, very relaxing. Great tree, at Strath Creek, I was there a few weeks ago, took lots of shots,
now on my wall at home!
Haha - good for you, Gary! Thanks for the kind words.
Feels like a camera commercial. "Fritz cameras. When your work, and you, deserve the very best."
Well done, Peter.
Lol. Thx, mate. The one thing I should have done with this video is slipped in a long fart somewhere…
@@peterfritzphoto Or a slide whistle. Then you would who was actually paying attention.
@@TroySwezey True! It’s always interesting to see how many people will comment on a video they clearly haven’t watched - especially the car videos.
@@peterfritzphoto Ut oh. Now I need to go back and rewatch to make sure I did not miss something. Volume UP! :)
@@TroySwezey LOL
Looked like it was such a relaxing and tranquil morning for photography, Peter. The light passing through that valley, over those soft rolling hills and meadows was beautiful. And that endless stretch of trees along the border - what a juxtaposition in landscapes. You captured it so well, with some beautiful images. I can see why the 100-500 is your fave for landscapes - it suits these scenes very nicely. Did you manage any drone photos? Lovely video and it was worth getting up at that hour...although I've not heard it called that before 😅
That place is certainly one of my favourites, and yes, it really needs a long focal length to make the most of it. I did actually get some drone images, but they weren’t much different to the video clips, so I left them out. Sparrow’s Fart is even earlier now, thanks to daylight savings! 😄
Handsomely produced video start to finish Peter. A real portrait of a landscape photographer immersed in his work and appreciating the joy of it. I enjoyed even the subtle moments like walking up the hill with the focus on the fence post. Thanks for taking us to this gorgeous location!
Thank you so much, Juanita. It makes me very happy that you noticed that subtle moment. 💙
Wonderful non verbal film there Peter. Well worth the effort I’m sure , and, thanks for sharing that .
Thanks a lot, Chris. Nice to see you here again.
@@peterfritzphoto always keen to see your offerings .
@@chriscummins4282 I appreciate it.
The row of trees on the way out was especially nice plus those folding hills . I’m wondering where a high hill looking east might reveal itself to me around here now .
@@chriscummins4282 Definitely one of my favourite places. It took me years to notice those trees, though. I was lucky that morning.
Beautiful. What camera are you filming with?
Thanks, George. This one was actually done with an R7. The aerials were done with the Mavic 3 Classic.
Great video. Watching from Plymouth in the UK. What drone are you using dji mini 2? Really want a drone for my photography bag! Dji mini 3 pro once the price drops!!
Thanks a lot, Carl. This one I shot with the Mavic 3 Pro, with the gorgeous Hasselblad camera. However, I recently bought the Air 3, and despite it having a smaller sensor, it’s genuinely amazing - definitely good enough for serious aerial landscape photography and video. I haven’t tried the Mini 3 Pro, but from what I’ve seen and heard, it’s still VERY good. Thanks for dropping in. 👍
what a beautiful spot! I love the image at 7:22. great composition and light.
Thank you, Brian. That’s my favourite, too. 👍
Sometimes things speak for themselves. Thanks for the video Peter. All the best.
Thanks a lot, Brian.
Many photographers, even pro's like myself would not consider a lens such as a 100-500mm for landscape. This video would go someway into (rightfully) changing that misperception. Well done!
Neither did I a few years ago. I bought my original superzoom - an EF 100-400 II - to shoot birds. But as soon as I trained it on a distant tree line and saw the way it compressed the hills and amplified the scene, I was hooked. Now it's my main go-to landscape lens. Thanks for dropping in.
Excellent way to start the morning 😀 . That ground looks awfully parched for spring ? .
Well-spotted, Chris! That's because I've had this video in a folder since March! It's only now that I gotten around to editing and releasing it! I hope you're well, mate.
@@peterfritzphoto Also guilty as charged, some of mine are a lot longer in the gestation than they might appear. 😀 All good here although I think I stopped breathing for the last 15m of the AB’s match yesterday!!
@@Chris-NZ LOL.
Would love to see your take on the 12 Apostles in Port Campbell.
I must go back - it’s been probably 12 years since I was last there.
@@peterfritzphoto Maybe it is a bit of a drive for you but there is always a price to pay.
I bet it looks amazing, especially from the air. The ability to photograph it from the air was a tool you likely did not have access to 12 years ago.
Perhaps that place has flight restrictions, though.
@@TroySwezey That’s a great idea! I just checked, and I’m allowed to fly there. Woo-hoo!! I’ll wait till after the holiday season is over, though. It’ll be crazy down there for the next two months. All the best for 2024, mate. 👍🦘🎉
what's the location?
What, no ‘hello’ first? No ‘nice video’? It’s overlooking the Strath Creek Valley, Victoria.
This was awesome mate, love it! The shots you got were stunning❤ & loved the aerial footage as well, especially of the pine trees vs those rolling hills, the contrast was so cool! Thanks for sharing😉
@@peterviragphotoThanks, Pete. Yeah, that area never gets old for me. How good are the colours out of the Mavic’s Hasselblad?
liked this lovely shots and video
Thanks, Bryan.
