Nice one, thanks! Great to hear you are feeling better. I've been sick half of the holidays too. 😅 "Megitsune" was released in June 2013. Suzuka was 15 while Yui and Moa were both 13 (about to turn 14). As you already did the live version I just wanted to comment a few things about the music video: When Su pulls out the "tanto" (short blade) she says: "Otome wa... nametara ikan zeyo" ("Maidens... shouldn't be underestimated"). It's also a line said by a gangster's daughter in the film 'Kiryu-in Hanako no Shogai' (1982), released outside Japan as 'Onimasa'. Yui and Moa were playing some traditional games: the marbles game is called "Ohajiki" (おはじき). They also play "Otedama" (お手玉). The locations have become pilgrimage destinations for fans around the world: - The stage where they are performing is called Nohgakudo (Noh theater) at Asagaya Shinmeigu Shrine in Tokyo. This is a stage where music and dances are performed during festivals. - The shrine right before the breakdown with the orange-ish torii gates is the famous Fushimi Inari-taisha in Kyoto. The girls were so happy that the director traveled to Kyoto just to film that sequence. I am lucky enough to have visited both locations during my trip to Japan (among other incredible places) last February / March. 🤘🦊
Good reaction. BABYMETAL can work as a medicine, so I hope you are feeling much better. I think I already told you about the song when you watched the live performance and @road-runner has given you all the info about this music video, so I won't repeat that unnecessarily.🦊
The Japanese all woman heavy metal band Nemophila has an exceptional singer as well as first class musicians. "Adabana (original music video)" is one of their best. After that more Japanese metal bands such as Lovebites, East of Eden, Band Maid, and Hanabie.
Great MV. This and the Karate MV are my favorites.
😊
2nd this🤗🤗. 🦊 🖖❤
