You have a good eye. My guesses: bone structure, center of balance preference, injury. Any way you slice it, it appears to be working for him. We can't know that correcting it would be better for his dancing. I disagree (to some degree) with anyone citing "injury" as a consequence. More studies are coming out how the differences in our bone structures can generate positive abilities in strength, balance, power, etc (for example high level sprinters tend to have anterior pelvic tilt, an often cited "negative" attribute in posture/physical therapy). Perhaps this is the right placement for him. And for anyone citing "it doesn't look clean/attractive," well I didn't even notice because the charisma and energy meant much more to me. What do you think?
This is from 2018, I believe. I remember seeing this on IG right before I saw them perform. They’re my favs! But ABT’s IG looks like they’re back in small group rehearsals.

What about football professionals. Their cut off retirement is just about the same as for a professional dancer.
