I love getting boxes of parts from CB gitty and also BEZDEZ (ebay seller here in Canada) and I call it Christmas too. :) BEZDEZ is what started it all for me a little over a year ago. I was stocking up parts for my guitar repair and custom builds/mods shop. When I was looking for bridges I noticed this weird little bridge with only 3 saddles. I'm like whats that? I googled cigar box guitar ( I had no idea ) and now my life isn't the same. I soon found Del and use mainly his methods for building. I'm now working on 9,10 and 11 and have 5 extra necks built up for the ones after that. Thanks for the entertaining and informative videos.
So cool you found Donny. If you hadn't had the garage sale you may have never met him. I'm hoping to wind my own pickups too. But I can only handle so many ADHD ideas at a time :)
