This figure is probably the best specimen of clone troopers. It will be awesome if Hasbro releases a plain white phase II shiny using this format.

That would be cool but Hasbro is so dumb I'm sure we'll get a clean trooper with all the old parts in the archive which would be terrible.

They won't release a clean clone because we will all paint them to make the clones we want.
Such an awesome figure.Personally, i think this and the Umbra Trooper are the best figures to come from the Gaming Greats line so far, the line is really coming into its own with these awesome Trooper releases.Super clean paint apps and the use of the Rex/Bly updated Clone body make this figure almost perfection. Awesome review Nate, so glad you guys over the pond are finally getting your hands on these figures.

I know you guys and others like the Rex/Bly body, but I still vastly prefer the new 2020 Clone mold. Not a fan of the pins, reversed shins, no butterfly shoulders, and bad ankle articulation. A flying character should be able to point their toes. That being said, I still bought two because 501st reasons. Both mine came with the black line on the helmet off alignment, but I was able to fix it with a black paint pen. Enjoying the flood of reviews. Glad we are all getting figures in after a bit of a drought for Black Series.
You gotta cave when it comes to those "501st reasons," lol! Fair points though, Sydwase. It is a shame about the legs but I don't think it's that noticeable. Appreciate you checking out the review! Have a great rest of your week. -Justin
Shame about the ankle rockers and slightly oversized helmet, but still, you can't go wrong with the Rex/Bly body and the black line on it (finally!). Love this trooper, we just need Hasbro to churn out more clone repaints. Great review and great-looking figure.

I was lucky enough to find 2 of these in the actual store, like, woah. Lol. Then a few days later I got my 2 pre-orders in the mail. If you couldn't tell, I love the jet trooper, it looks so damn awesome, just the color scheme alone, the little bit of red just pops. Now I'm just "awaiting product availability" for Throne Room Boba and Umbra trooper. As always, great review. 👍

I recently picked this guy up from my local GameStop. They had a ton of Nightbrothers but only two of these guys, so I'm glad I went when I did. A great figure, I've been excited for this one for a while. I agree it's the best clone trooper body in the line at the moment, I've been hoping they would reuse the Rex/Bly body at some point, and this figure does that with flying colors. Speaking of colors, the paint is awesome, I love the shade of blue they used and the figure has all the necessary details for a BF2/CWS7 501st jet trooper. Great review as always Nate, I enjoy watching these reviews even if they're of figures I already own.

Agreed on this being the best clone body :) sent this body to a local customizer for a cody custom comission (with fixed clone legs since these r missassembled) and its just so good!
wish they would make this body the universal clone mold tbh haha

This Figure is awesome! Only complain i have is what you also said are those extra things on jetpack. Kinda annoying me how it looks but its minor complain.

I’m digging the figure: sculpt, articulation & color scheme plus it’s another 501st to add to the ranks. But high price & skimpy accessories. Although ones a jet pack. I bet I’ll buy him for the shelves. Kinda been on a blue clone trip. No other colors. I did like the yellow mortar troop. Amazon exclusives elude me

As much as I do love me some troopers, I'm not feeling this at all. I just finished modifying the other Rocket Troopers I have. I'm glad these are easy to get though, as all army building troopers should be. Big up to Dormammu bartending.

Mine had some issues with a loose left leg, but otherwise it's definitely one of the nicer figures I've bought so far

Nice work on the review! I cancelled all of my GG pre orders, couldn't justify the repaints for $28. If they go on sale, I will probably pick them up!

Yep the old clone body is terrible as far as articulation. Maybe someday we'll get a new Commander Cody! -Justin
i have mixed feelings about this body. i like the torso better than the 2020 clone torso, but i still prefer the arms and legs on the newer clone body to this one. especially the pinless aspect of them.
I do love the pinless look and agree with your issues on this body. We still don’t have the perfect clone body yet but maybe we are getting close with these weird Frankenstein bodies they’ve been cooking up. Thanks for watching! -Nate
