I have been with you for a long time. Most logs look the same and normally there are no problems. I am always surprised that you have so many followers and some even send you gifts. To see a log processed into boards is, somehow, still interesting. I really like you and your men. I only wish that I was able to work. I sure would love to visit your mill one day but that is not possible. I have never had interest in a wood mill in the past but somehow I am addicted to your channel. I even feel gilt if I watch another wood mill. Thanks for the video and the extra work that it takes to have your channel.
Wishing y'all an early spring, from SW France. I do know some of what you are puttin' up with. I worked in our lumber yard for a number of years, next to a canal. One year I drilled the ice, to check it for safety, and it was 17" thick! Back in London, not here in France. Keep busy and keep warm, Guys!
Well done Mark and the boys on reaching the 90K. This was a great video a little bit of humour. April will soon roll along Mark for your retirement. Anyhow take great care stay safe. All the best. B. K.
Those are really nice hats. We have a whole boxful that Grandma made for us. She's long gone now. The memories go to our heads though 😂. With all that framing lumber and Mr Horvath's masonry skills one can make a mighty fine house.
Hi Mark. Beautiful popular lumber. So far. Pete 319 had a great load of popular logs. As for spring? We'll see. Good job on Bus Motors Bill. 😂😂😂😆😆😆😁😁😁 Thanks Mark. Say Hi to Ed, ZZ, & remaining crew February the 1st. Everyone have a good Monday night of the 3rd. 😂😆😁🥰😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌫
Congratulations on 90,000. Gorgeous Lumber. I'm looking forward to meeting you all. I believe you, and Mr. Eddie could open a sawmill school to teach people the right way to run a mill.
Good video. Mark. Some of those really thin, wide slivers looked like you were cutting veneer sheets. I do like your edger music. If you ever decide to do some upgrades/add-ons to the edger, having a switch that would automatically turn off the feed belt after the board exits the other side would be nice.
Just loving these videos Mark. I gave up on YT as a New Years resolution as I was burning too much time watching crap. But my one treat is to watch yours and Eddie's videos. I just love them and, although I'm retired now I reckon that working in your team would be my perfect job. Keep on doing what your doing! And Bucket Of Bolts is a great sound track for the edger. Best regards from North Wales
This batch of poplar logs that have been sawed lately are good quality. Minimal amount of ovals, snakes, bananas, sweeps or swoops. Makes for good lumber yields.
Hi mark and your #1 crew if you guys have time can you bottle some of your warmer weather and send us some ,for the next couple days we will be in the negative 20s for our lows. Ps love you guys
I decided to go old school and go with poplar for my framing lumber and it sounds like some others have seen how nice they are and decided to follow suit!
Not too far south of me is a town called Albertville and here on Sand Mountain we have Sand Mountain Sam. It's a Opossum but it's only been wrong one time as far as I know of and that was his first year I think. Rookies 😂
Here's a idea to warm up your hydraulic fluid in winter, a heat exchanger in reverse, your Detroit has ports for a heater core, get heater hose and wrap the hydraulic tank with the heater hose
Popular is good for a change, have been a subscriber for a few years now and never miss a video. But I feel I have to say this you need to spend a few hours and do a cleanup as the chips and debris have gotten so deep that it's starting to cover up the rails. Bad fire Hazzard, stay warm.
😊😊 HI MARK 2 weeks ago it was cold 🥶 😮 here also even W a good heavy pair of coveralls on U still couldn't stay outside U done what had 2 do outside and went back inside it wasn't fit 2 be out there in the cold air and cold weather it was bad enough 2 have 2 go outside and get wood in 😮😮I surely know that I didn't stay out in the cold air long I had 2 wait 4 alot better 2 do the outside work 😊😊 OMG 2 3 2O25
I like your 'Bust Motor-Boating Billiam,' better than that old 'Punch You In The Tonies Phil' I mean, who likes to get Punched in the Tonies by a saw'd-off varmint? Not a hard choice.
Skunksatauny Bill!! Hey, you have probably already answered this, but what is the thing sticking out of the chips across from the blade that looks like a wood turned snowman head with hat??
Hi Doc, thanks for watching the movie! The flat topped gnome is Karl the Complainer. Karl is the lead in our complaint department here at the sawmill. The other guy on the set works box by the dial is Sammy the Safety gnome. ZZ Mark
😊😊 HI MARK I use a pull over hat 👒 😊 myself and a cap it keeps it in.place and keeps your head and neck warm /and ZZ looks alot like 👍 👌 Billy gibbons from ZZ TOP now mark I always heard everybody has a twin and it's so true 👍 😊 OMG 2 3 2O25

You're right, ZZ. They're alpaca-wool blend. Wash them gently by hand and lay them flat to dry.

Here's a idea to warm up your hydraulic fluid in winter, a heat exchanger in reverse, your Detroit has ports for a heater core, get heater hose and wrap the hydraulic tank with the heater hose
the heat goes into my cab off of the Detroit.
@markgalicic7788 via a heater core?
Your knit hats are called "toboggans" by the blue-nosers up in The Great White North. Also called "toques" up there in the 51st State.

With heart and lung health issues, it's important to keep exposure to temperatures under 20°F to a minimum. All seniors viewers out there be careful 😊
Yep, Spring is coming.
soon I hope!
90.000 👍👍👍
thank you.
Take a shot at a Patreon account, Mark. That way people can donate through that or support you on a monthly basis. $1, $2, etc.
Heard something " saw" its shadow 😊
he did but Bill's forecast is much better lol.
Ice is looking a for rumored rodent that pops out looking for it's shadow. So it's an early spring and warmer weather.
I sure hope so.
Build your fire hickory, hickory, ash, and oak. Don’t use no green or rotten wood, they will get you by the smoke. 🎉
I like the smell of hickory.
Happy birthday to Jamie Gasper from western New York on February 17th
Happy Birthday Jamie!
We shall see if the fumes Bill was dealing with clouded his judgement. Blessings
I hope so lol!
BUS MOTOR BILL, HA HA HA!
glad you liked it lol.
I like your 'Bust Motor-Boating Billiam,' better than that old 'Punch You In The Tonies Phil' I mean, who likes to get Punched in the Tonies by a saw'd-off varmint? Not a hard choice.
I like it lol.
Why is it that you use the pith and sometimes you don't can you explain
in this case I split the pith not as bad but this is framing lumber.
@markgalicic7788 does it still twist
Rodney Pinion will be 80 Feb 20th
Happy Birthday Rodney!
Skunksatauny Bill!! Hey, you have probably already answered this, but what is the thing sticking out of the chips across from the blade that looks like a wood turned snowman head with hat??
