Ant is my favorite player. As a Wolves fan we’ve been in a long drought. We missed draft opportunities like drafting Steph Curry and many more. Players like Kevin Love and even Karl Anthony-Towns couldn’t carry the team to the playoffs. As a fan we always wanted an impact player (speaking in the past) like James Harden, Paul George, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, and Steph Curry. They were always relevant and fighting in the playoffs. Now, we have Anthony Edwards and we couldn’t be any happier. Let’s go WOLVES 🐜🐺

I look forward to seeing the new gen of the NBA in the likes of Antman, Wemby, Shai and the rest of the new crop. I do agree they all have that competitive edge. But it would be criminal not to recognize the Lebron, Curry era. I've been fortunate to witness the passing of the torch era's from Magic and Bird to Jordan to Kobe and now Lebron to Edwards. We've all been truly blessed to witness such amazing athletes!

Let’s wait. Problem with sports media is they try to crown people too early. There’s some similarities but let’s let it play out.
He is nowhere near Jordan. He is good. Athletic..but MJ??? The media ruins everything and everyone. They hype so many players from Harden, to George, to Embiid, to EVERYONE..and none of them live up to it. Edwards is good, but he is not in the Jordan stratosphere. That won’t ever happen again because these kids do not have that aura..that level of ability. Grace and athleticism. Jordan is one of one.

Rach, there will never be another Jordan. Kobe came close but was just a reflection of the og. MJ changed how the game is played. He changed how players are sponsored & how much they get paid. MJ also was a global phenomenon, he popularized the game & he was a competitor. No one can mimic MJ’s style & finesse on the court. This is why MJ is the Goat.
Yup, he is great. Nuggets will win series though. Anyway, Edwards is great truly. But comparing already MJ and him, is a bit too much. He has moves, finally somebody in the nba after Kobe that has those. Lebron is overall great player, but mot that gracious as MJ, because he is too big. MJ, Kobe, McGrady really had those beautiful moves

Boston actually started the whole super team era to beat lebron and San Antonio and also lebron had to leave because Cavs front office in his first stint refused to give him help and there’s no way he was beating San Antonio and Boston by himself and bron never blew a 3-1 lead or joined a team that had the best record of all time.

The different organisations being more conscious of drafting,signing and trading for players who think will help their franchise is what contributes to the feeling that the league has now been balanced.
The hate for players like LeBron and other superstars who took charge of their own careers and the delusions of the past generation's grandeur is what contributed to the current NBA's fall in ratings.
There is no franchise right now or in the foreseeable future that can win a championship only having a single star player with no quality or past their prime star player joining that team that can win it all in this version of the league that we now have.
It's just people deluding themselves, thinking that teams are back to what they think the league is in the past.🤷

Ant was born in 2001 in Atlanta,Georgia. Michael Jordan had came back out of retirement to play on the Washington Wizards and was a Wizard from 2001 - 2003. Wizards played against the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta in 2001. Look at a picture of MJ on the Bulls in the 1980's before Scottie Pippen got to the Bulls and then look at a current picture of Anthony Edwards now on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ant looks just like MJ on the Bulls in the 1980's (In the face). Could only imagine if a report comes out in 2024 or 2025 that Michael Jordan is Anthony Edwards biological father.
Even if it MJ isn't the father of Ant the resemblance in the facial features is crazy alike.
