It was so perfect at the end of the first set we were in the chat waiting for the start of the second set in a bunch of was were talking about being in recovery and what do you know hopener for the second set that was made by Cosmic design that's why I truly love this band and the people who follow it we are amazing imperfect boys are human beings
Bisco Phisher coming up on ten months here myself . feels good man. Cant wait for 12/27 will be my 3rd completely clean biscuits show. You can still have fun in recovery and get down hard with the biscuits!

I know so wished I was there during that part... the crowd getting down and the band getting down tough
I've said it the entire tour. They've been enjoying themselves and they're definitely a band that shows how they feel in their music.

This was a solid show from top to bottom not as dirty as I would like it to be but that's not an insult they have evolved so much from just being one-dimensional as far as the tempos and Switching gears one way and they're jams and transitions now they can go so many different ways it's unbelievable
i dunno allen sure fucking got dirty with his drums from 11 minutes on to the rest of the first set

Has Allen ever been as dialed in as that first set? It sounded like two drummers at times with how many snares he was hitting while somehow keeping a roll on the high hats
I'm still geeking out over the drumming on Anthem. I see why some of you have loved this band for decades now.
2.15.09 is some of my favorite Allen based madness, that 42>spacebird...
Allen has probably had the biggest influence on my drumming. I swear I know EXACTLY what you're talking about in regards to the high-hat work......its at a level that most people will never obtain. Practice.........practice............practice. I practice/play drums every day or at least every other day and it took a loooooonnnnggggggg time to reach the bottom tier of how Allen plays. And during times I've not been able to play like I normally do It'll take a fe practices to get back to that level.
Terence Devine that's what got me hooked in 2006 or whenever their last set at Allgood was played. So I discovered TDB during the beginning of Allen's tenure. I still love Sammy but he's nowhere near as technical as Allen. They're like comparing apples to Dale Earnhardt lol. They just have 2 different drumming styles
