I have to disagree with you simply because they are such vastly different categories, IMO.
The Biscuits improvisation is essentially unrehearsed whereas RTF (and most of what Chic Korea does is very rehearsed)
Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say because the concept of rehearsed improvisation doesn't seem to make sense !!
